Draft Day Thread
Re: Draft Day Thread
8 picks ahead of us and here are some really interesting players still on the Board who have been projected to be gone by #20:
1. Miles Bridges
2. Michael Porter Jr.
3. Lonnie Walker Jr.
4. Robert Williams
5. Jerome Brown
6. Zhaire Smith
I'm still assuming all six of these will be gone by the time the Wolves are on the clock. But there's still a chance one of them could fall to us. If so, is there anyone on this list you wouldn't grab if you were in Thibodeau's shoes?

Re: Draft Day Thread
The only guy i was hoping we could somehow land was Knox. The night ended pretty early for me.
Re: Draft Day Thread
Wow, nbadraft.com hasn't missed on any pick so far. That has to be more than coincident or good guessing. I'd say they are very well sourced. Note that they have the Wolves taking Aaron Holiday at #20. That would be interesting given the likelihood that the Wolves re-sign Rose, still have Teague and have apparently promised Tyus Jones more PT. Then again, if my friend's source is right, we'd be making that pick for someone else. Unfortunately, that would mean we're not doing the deal with Atlanta that someone suggested (Dieng and #20 for Bazemore and #34). I really like the Atlanta deal, but it seems too good to be true. I don't see Thibodeau pulling off a deal like that.

I just want a good young player. Miles Bridges is off the board and really nothing has been too surprising yet except Young going higher than expected but he was going to be gone before our pick anyway. I'll be interested to see if Donte goes higher as some of the mocks have been predicting. Both of us would rather have someone else fall to us if that is the case. These next few picks should be interesting. I'm starting to get nervous!!!

Despite his enormous upside, I would be wary of Porter. His cocky attitude after not really proving anything concerns me.

Did I miss something or looking at a wrong version of their mock?
Re: Draft Day Thread
NBAdraft.net has Robert Williams falling way down to #21. He has motor/attitude issues that have apparently become toxic to his draft value. Probably not worth the risk at #20, but worth a thought. He's physically gifted.

Monster -- Who is the guy you most want to fall to the Wolves who wasn't expected to be there at #20?

I think they had Young and Bamba reversed, but still an extraoridinary mock. I hope Holiday isn't our pick at 20.

Yes, I think they missed one. It's still uncanny.
