It's been like that for a while now. Dieng has been unplayable, but we have to because he's like the 3rd or 4th highest paid guy on the team.

KAT is really turning a corner defensively. His rotations aren't perfect, but they are so much better. Meh on Wiggins - no matter what he does it always leaves me wanting.

I really hope we can find some sort of trade for a wing with a combo of Gorgui, Aldrich, Shabazz, and that OKC first. We can find a backup C off the scrap pile to play a few minutes, but we can't do so for a competent wing. We need a sniper in the worst way.

He just isn't necessary here when Belly fits our needs much better. We really only need a C to play 8-12 minutes a night. Taj and Belly can cover the PF slot, and Taj can even pick up some of those C minutes if Thibs gives Belly more run.

Question why give up the future asset in the pick. What does adding a guy like Bazemore (for exp.) get us, it dosen't move is past the Warriors or the Rockets so keep the future assets.

Also gorgui won't have a ton of value around the league, he is not good enough to be a starter on a good team and to expensive for bad teams to take back.

stand pat this year, use the MLE, and our pick on wings and develop the youth.

If we were a piece away from contending then sure trade the pick but we are not a piece away

Thing with belly he is coming off a big foot injury this offseason where he really didn't get an offseason and he still got hurt again on limited minutes. I just don't think you can play belly 20+ minutes because of his foot

That was my mindset before our team decided to go all in. Now, it's paramount to ensure success while we have Jimmy in the hopes of keeping him. The draft is a crap shoot, and Thibs hasn't proven to 1) select key talent or 2) develop them (see Dunn). Yes, it's early on Patton, but go look at a couple other guys who could really help us this year - OG, Kuzma, Leaf, John Collins. I really wanted that pick to be OG and damn if he wouldn't be a perfect fit here.

I'd trust Thibs to secure an actual talent via trade over finding a gem in the 20's of the draft.

Once again what does adding a decent wing do for us, It dosen't pass teams like the Warriors and the Rockets. In my opinion it is stupid to trade future cheap assets when we are going to be in cap hell in 2 years for a player that makes us better but dosen't make us any closer to a contender.

Don't doubt Thibs drafting either Dunn is good, was going to pick Markannen. Patton is a wait and see but I agree should have picked a wing because they are harder to find
