The problem originates with one of our perimeter guys not getting around a screen fast enough, which always puts KAT in the position of having to commit to the ball handler. Adams just goes right to the rim and cleans up the mess. He's also has a really nice touch from that awkward 5 to 6 foot range. He's a really skilled dude, along with being massive.

It isn't just kat though. Both our bigs often dont commit one way or another. More often than not, they are stuck in between.
Sure we can have better defenders up front, but that isn't happening with rose and teague starting. Wiggins isn't much better, but better than those 2. Thibs could try okogie, but that isn't happening either.

I don't know what to say. If you're going to be bad, at least be somewhat fun to watch.

Love Okogie's energy on defense, but he tries to do too much and ends up leaving guys open because he's chasing the ball. He reminds me of Corey Brewer a little bit....

Yeah they seem depressed. Such a contrast to watching the Lakers last night who were having all the fun in the world.

Fun and thibs are like oil and water.

Well, his time is coming to an end. This isn't even close to a .500 team based on what I saw tonight and Josh Richardson, Tobias Harris, or Robert Covington won't change that. We'll have a new head coach and POBO by the summer.

I'm starting to have some sympathy for Butler wanting out of this mess. I seriously don't give a shit anymore, and yet I think I care more than most of this team.

James Nunnally isn't gonna be a Wolf by opening night at this rate.

The offense is a big problem. Thibs needs to build the offense around Towns. He should be the primary option. Run some corner offense or posts ups.
What we are seeing is teague and rose getting free reign and first dip at looking for their shots in our iso offense.
Towns is used as screener and wiggins is standing in the corner and the last option to create something when nothing happens with teague and rose iso.
That is a total waste of talents on the team. If we are building around towns and wiggins then using them as 3rd and 4th option is stupid.
If teague is harden/chris paul/westbrook level or rose is mvp rose then by all means, iso them to death. But they are not. Towns is being forced to work for touches. Wiggins has not looked good in pre season but I have no doubt that another coach would have gotten him better position and spots to do more and get more out of him.
This is terrible coaching.
