You are wise. That's simply an old way of thinking by people in your office.

I'm curious what you think of this Bleed. I watched the first part of Cuban on with Rachel Nichols. She grilled him with some questions. Either the guy is a good actor or he really genuinely seems sorry. Plus his initial apology wasn't the non-apology type we hear so often. Tim Bontemps said on the Dunc'd on podcast that he didn't think this was enough punishment since this case will be a president for any cases to follow. He thought Cuban should have been suspended in some way for a time period as owner. It will be shocking to me if there is no other things like this that come out in the next 5 or so years.

I think the NBA did a good thing making the owners accountable. It is a very smart move. The timing is semi-similar to the Wolves issues and it is interesting that the NBA didn't come down on the Wolves in any way. I think some of that is Cuban vs Taylor. I do think when you have this type of shit going on it filters into the product on the court and we are seeing that with Wolves. If you don't have culture and values and try to shortcut to winning you are playing with fire and will get burned.

I think the big thing for Dallas was it was their longtime CEO that was doing all kinds of stuff. If the Wolves had a long time assistant coach doing this stuff maybe it's an even bigger deal Dallas had a high level executive doing this stuff for years largely unchecked. Obviously there were more problems than that but that was pretty damning. I'm interested to watch the rest of the spots with Rachel Nichols especially with the new CEO that's made a bunch of changes.

I agree and it has been a while since I read about it. I found it hard to believe that Cuban wouldn't know, but didn't see the interview. I just wonder at what point the NBA will be more involved in this. It is not worth it for a team to sign someone like that will give them a black eye in a position that will interact with public representing your team. That is on Thibs for sure. I hope the Butler situation is the last straw for Taylor.
