If we could combine the skills of all 3 pgs in to 1 I think we'd be cooking with fire. Unfortunately each is missing the one skill from the other that will always hold them back.

I know it sometimes feels like they're turning a corner, turns out they've been stuck in a roundabout.

My only explanation was the guys were trying to be nice to Dirk to give him a send off... lol

The Wolves had some opportunities to fall apart. Some of those foul calls had to be very frustrating. Dallas wasn't really good enough to take it from them, but even without Zach the Wolves finished them off. Tyus made some plays. I thought it made sense to bring him in when Rush was getting off the bench.

Lavine really filled up the stat sheet before leaving the game.

Bazz with another nice game where he does Bazz things but does them well. He had a hard time Guarding Harris, but he is more of a PG than a straight up SG.

I'm just back from the game and still have to pack for a 5am flight, so only one observation tonight...I like to keep it simple anyway :) . And I fully recognize I'm going to stir up Abe's ire by pointing out the obvious, but I'm going to do it anyway!

We keep asking if the team has turned the corner, but my question tonight is this. Did THIBS turn the corner tonight?????? We don't expect him to ever play his bench more minutes than our opponent, but tonight he at least played them a NORMAL amount of minutes...82 for the Wolves compared to 87 for the Mavs. And lo and behold, just look what wonderful and unusual things happen when the guys you finish the game with aren't completely drained...YOU WIN THE 4TH QUARTER!!!!!!!!! God it was fun to see our team play a 4th quarter with reasonably fresh legs...who knew that not being tired lets you play better defense :) ?

So, I ask again: Did THIBS turn the corner tonight?

Mr Jones hit some big shots tonight, showed ability to score in different ways. Catch and shoot 3, a Lil floater in the lane. If he had backed a guy down and did a Lil fade away jumper I'd swear it was Sammy C. Out there!

Lol that's CP3. We'd be a top 4 team with CP3 as our PG.
