I think Wiggins has been the third best player on the team -- behind Towns and LaVine -- this season despite him possibly having the highest ceiling and best physical tools. I also think he's mentally weak, or soft, and doesn't have the burning desire that most elite players have. That doesn't mean that I think he sucks nor am I running him off the team. I've said plenty of times that I think it'd be a mistake to deal away any of our Big Three right now. But I am as frustrated as anyone with how inconsistent his effort and play has been over the last 10 or so games. A big reason for that frustration/disappointment is because he COULD be damn near unstoppable given his talent and physical profile. With every piss poor game from him, however, I feel less and less confident that he'll get to the level of player that I think he has the potential to be. And that really sucks.
Hypothetical...
What kind of haul do you think the Wolves could get for Wiggins?
I don't know, maybe you could look back at the half dozen or so threads that have been devoted to this previously. I'm sure you will have plenty of options to choose from.
I don't remember those too much... specifically Camden's take on it.
He's been gone quite a bit and didn't feel like spending too much time searching to see if he was a participant. This is easier. Is that ok with you?

I guarantee they could get back a great 3&D wing who would be guaranteed to only be a great D player for the Wolves.
Watching this game back since the other game is on TNT and I didn't get home in time to start.
The first quarter so far Towns was just terrific. He mixed up his offensive game like we have talked about and his defense looked pretty good as well. With just under 3 minutes Towns took a tougher contested baseline jumper...and things kinda went down hill from there.
Patty Mills is quick and he literally looks like he could run circles around Rubio. The difference is athletic ability against Mills is very stark when Dunn comes into the game and plays D against him.
Leonard scored at least 4 points on Lavine. He just hit a shot off a screen with Belly all over him. Wiggins switches with dieng on a screen and Leonard gets away from dieng and hits an easy jumper. Leonard's ball handling probably doesn't get talked about enough he really can sift his way around the the floor.
Dunn knocked Leonard down on defense and went to go help him up. I like he was strong enough to knock him down.
Mills back in the game with Rubio coming in also...oh boy. Much better rotation so far including taking it away from Mills for an easy dunk for Dieng the other way. Oh nice a little Ridnour shot baseline shot there but Rubio. Mills hasn't been attacking as much this quarter they have been going to Leonard which has obviously been pretty effective.
I've tried to watch Bazz defensively. He isn't guarding any high level offensive threats but he is solid always in his stance and stunting back and forth what looks like the correct depth etc. he just looks really solid and his guy doesn't end up wide open for 3's because he is out of position. That's good because man he just isn't able to do the stuff he usually does offensively. He has to be pressing but again to his credit he isn't forcing it as much as in the past and is moving the ball.
Bad shot by Towns who complains about the call and gets beat down the floor by Deadmon and fortunately Lavine doesn't foul him to give up an and 1
Towns first shot was another one where he worked so hard for a tough shot and then came up complaining about a foul. He needs to get that under control.
Lavine took a deep contested 3 for no reason.
Leonard is just making it look easy. I'm not sure what Wiggins is supposed to do on some of these shots though.
Aldrich gets onto Mills and gets the jump ball.
I thought Wiggins didn't do anything in this game he was plenty engaged in the 3rd quarter.
Dunn continues his good play.
Dieng was really solid. I'm going to really watch him more lately and see if his more bulk is helping him in postup sutuations. I know Aldridge doesn't always work to get deep but it seems like last year he worked over Dieng a few times. It seemed like a couple times Dieng gave more resistance when Aldridge was trying to back him down.
Not a good quarter for the Wolves but I didn't feel like they complete fell apart espcially defensively I thought they had some good possessions where the Spurs just hit a shot or got an offensive rebound and then scored.
Bazz doesn't secure an offensive rebound because Kyle Anderson gets it over him but he gets back and makes a couple proper rotations helping guys out. The Spurs got a FT but some good awareness by Bazz and he didn't give up on the play at either end.
Lavine with some pretty good post D on David Lee which is kinda impressive.
I like this Kris Dunn guy.
Rubio has hit rim on every miss.
Leonard is good.
Lavine has come so far and he has been pretty good against the Spurs. He had a couple bad turnovers in the 2nd half and had a bad shot in the first half but man he reallly has smoothed out his game a lot.
It would be great if the Wolves would be playing with this kind of energy they have this last couple meaningless minutes.
