Prominent NBA SG/SF's under 30-years old:
K. Durant
J. Harden
J. Butler
K. Leonard
P. George
K. Thompson
G. Antetokounmpo
D. DeRozan
G. Hayward
C. McCollum
A. Bradley
T. Harris
E. Fournier
E. Gordon
D. Russell
D. Booker
B. Beal
R. Hood
O. Porter
Yeah, the league isn't actually void of talented wings. We need both of ours to figure it out and match or surpass everyone on this list.

I do agree that the talent of wing Players is higher than it was a couple years ago when it was like there were maybe 30 true starting level wing players in the entire league. The rarity now is still true as it was before that finding true 2 two wing players is still hard to do. That's the next step for Lavine and Wiggins. It is nice to have guys that can actually put the ball in the hoop at that position that are also young with potential compared to the sad line of guys before them.

Just creating further discussion, but who says no?
Wolves: Andrew Wiggins, Ricky Rubio
Nuggets: Nikola Jokic, Wilson Chandler
From a personnel standpoint, I could see the reasons for both teams to make that deal. Again, I'm not pushing for the Wolves to make a trade involving a member of the Promising Pups (I'm done calling them a Big Three until they start winning games), but I think we can talk about all options.
EDIT: I added some secondary pieces to make it interesting.

I would keep Wiggins. I think a "potential" superstar wing + "potential" superstar post player is better than having two post players.

I'm of the mind I'd rather wait and end up trading Lavine/Wiggins/Towns when it's too late rather than try and trade them while they still have higher value. We just really can't afford to deal any of them and have them reach their potential elsewhere. Better to try and fail on blue chippers than deal them away impatiently and watch them become a star somewhere else IMO.

The Nuggets have pretty healthy collection of talent but I think they have bugs that would make them accept this deal. The Wolves probably turn it down because they would have no SF and Jokic doesn't look like he taken that next step like ai think many people expected from him. I think overall Wiggins probably has a higher value of the 2 just because he has reached a pretty high level already but Jokic is a nice player I bet a lot of teams would give up some nice things to get.

Good list. I made a few comments but your point stands.
My overall thought was that you listed 19 guys (not all of whom even play wing right now). Across 30 teams and 2 positions (SG/SF), that is 60 starters in the league. 19 out of 60 being pretty good is not a lot of wing talent. I was just saying we should hang onto our two if possible.

K. Durant (great but there are a lot of miles on those 28 year old tires)
J. Harden (playing PG)
J. Butler (yah he's good)
K. Leonard (he doesn't count he is a cyborg)
P. George (mentioned him)
K. Thompson (mentioned him)
G. Antetokounmpo (playing PG)
D. DeRozan (yah he's good - can't shoot the 3 though)
G. Hayward (yah he's good)
C. McCollum (mentioned him)
A. Bradley (good but often hurt)
T. Harris (plays a lot of PF)
E. Fournier (meh)
E. Gordon (OK but often hurt - playing well so far this year)
D. Russell (PG?)
D. Booker (good - possibly worse D than our wings?)
B. Beal (good but often hurt)
R. Hood (good - can't dribble? at least he can't in 2K)
O. Porter (OK)

That list also emphasizes one side of the ball mostly. Don't forget that there are a lot of wings out there that are defenders first and foremost - Roberson, MKG, Mbah Moute, etc.. Ideally, you have a true two-way wing like Butler or Leonard, but damn, those are really hard to find. Unfortunately, both of our wings are so far behind the curve defensively that whatever they offer offensively is sabotaged by their defense, thus we're 6-18 and tied for the worst record in the NBA. Unbelievable.

Basketball is no different than other sports in this regard: You play from the inside out. I can't entirely blame our wings for their poor defensive metrics. I'll side with the poster yesterday who said building up the interior will have a large effect on the whole. I believe this to be true.

That list was only 30 and under guys so there are still quite a few good wings that weren't mentioned like Lebron, Wade, Redick, Deng are guys I can thinknpff the top of my head and those guys are 2 way players.
Also Middleton wasn't mentioned. Neither was Wilson Chandler.
There are some pretty legit wing players beyond what has been mentioned espcially if you start including guys that are just pure SGs and add in combo forwards like Gallo.
So I think the point still stands the wing depth of the league is pretty good compared to a couple years ago. Teams like the Blazers and Nuggets have pretty nice depth at those positions.
Oh and that's Harrison Barnes guy and his teammate Wes Matthews ain't bad either.
