Vintage wolves 2nd half collapse and loss to a team missing its stat and a team we 'should' beat.

Wiggins is handling the ball and has five turnovers (actually should have been 6) and KAT is 0 from 6 from outside and he has a complete greenlight from there and why is Thibs ok with this? We should have blown out a Portland team without Lillard at home, but the gameplan is terrible. Its on the players too, but I really have been disappointed with Thibs game management.

They played a swarming defense that really flummoxed KAT on the interior and Wiggins on the perimeter. They would trap Point-Wiggins and he didn't know how to handle it.

We certainly didn't make them look like the NBA's worst defense tonight, but that's what they are most other nights!

Credit to Stotts. He swarmed KAT and trapped Wiggins. Neither knew how to handle the additional pressure and made numerous mistakes. Silver lining...learning experience? (Ugh, tired of always having to rely on that as an excuse!).

Is this the low point in the most dreadful of all seasons?

what the fuck do you do at this point when teams literally have a player play centerfield against us, how do you coach around a PG that can't shoot at all? Teams are going to aggressively go after us on defense with doubles and traps like crazy now once they see this and there is nothing we can do to stop it, this isn't on Towns improving passing out of the doubles he can get better but Ricky has to go. Can any of you find me clips of another pg who was so ignored and let open to shot THAT bad on every play? It doesn't matter if it's a 3 or a 10 footer you can't win that way, we are seeing what any team we faced in a playoff game would do to us and it was brutal to watch

What is the point of still having Rubio on the team? This is not a "hater" statement either. We're not there, he could be useful somewhere else in a better defined role. I hope a trade can happen quickly. If we're not going to get leadership from that position, get some value while we can.

I don't believe he'll fetch that much but a first round pick and an expiring contract from a playoff team would be what I would try and get.

Thibs doesn't value Ricky. Even if other teams liked Ricky, no one else will value him either.

That said, using this logic, Dieng shoulda never been given an extension.

Rubio struggled and Thibs did the right thing to bench him in the 4th. But there were plenty of opportunities for others to step up and deliver and they didn't. Too many stripped balls, missed 3's (KAT in particular), and thrown away possessions by multiple guys.

It's a recurring script. We win the first half, and then one coach makes appropriate adjustments in the second half, and one doesn't.

Anyone else think $8 million doesn't get you what it used to?
