That has to have been taught by the dad. All three of the Ball boys have fucked up mechanics.
Then the dad is an idiot because it's some terrible mechanics. He must not have ever watched a basketball game before he taught them otherwise I just don't know how you land on that as the final product.

Yikes...one of the greatest individual college performances I have ever seen, and one of the best games also! But how about that nitwit Callipari? In the post-game interview, he criticized Monk for not driving to the basket more often...Monk was right there, and the look on his face was like "is this guy serious?". Ha, fortunately the commentators called out the absurdity of Cal's comments directly after the interview. Pretty exciting to know Monk can score in so many ways though...this game has to vault him into the top 5.

You may find this video about the Ball Brothers shot mechanics amusing.

Dear God. "I'm gonna use these 3 players that made it work as a reason these guys will be fine". The middle brother's dip is a big problem. Even Klay had to bring his ball level from his hips to his chest on catch and shoot to work in the pros. The fact that this guy dips to his hips rather than starting from there just is even worse. That won't work on real close out defenders. The youngest brother is just screwed if you ask me. Lonzo at least gets his shot off quick, but the kid doesn't and he has no lift in his shot. I think 2 has the best chance if he can ditch the dip. Lonzo's misses are just so bad that I think he's a get hot type of shooter more than consistently good shooter and the youngest I just don't see how that works unless he's wide open all the time which he won't be on real levels of competition. They're all messed up though and I'm not a huge believer of the whatever works for you philosophy because it's so rare that it actually works out in the end. Whatever works for you is the equivalent of you're too old to learn to do it right. You learn to do it right because it's the quickest, most efficient, most consistent and if you have the touch it becomes like clockwork like Steph, Klay and Ray Allen are/were.

Assuming we fall in the 6-14 range these are the guys I'd be happy with in order.
OG Anunoby, Jonathan Isaac, Bam Adebayo, Miles Bridges, and Marques Bolden.
OG and Bam would be great fits for this team. Add some strength and toughness.

Like them both. I wouldn't sleep on Frank Ntilikina either,

Also like Thomas Bryant. I would probably select him over Bam as he is a sophmore and only 13 days older.

Would really like us to trade this pick should we end up having it.

It depends on where the pick is. We may need this player to be our cheaper bench help/insurance policy for the next 4 years. This draft looks to be pretty solid so I wouldn't really look to deal the pick unless we get a really good player back.

Moving the pick is certainly an option, but our best trade options might be guys already on the team. Moving a player(s) on the roster might make the pick more valuable to us.

Why wouldn't we have it? I thought 2018 was the first year we could lose it due to the Payne trade?
Look at this draft vs last years and next years. Assuming everyone enters the draft that is expected, then this is one year to not move a pick, especially one in the lottery.
Sure we could sell high, but don't expect a return that will catapult us to contender or even playoff status. Our roster isn't there yet.
I'd prefer to hit a loaded draft once more due to our core roster age, followed by maybe luring a nice FA or a rubio trade, and then hope for the best the next two seasons.
OG is a brick house 6'8 225ish SF who has a reported 7'6 wingspan. Plays hellacious defense from 2-4 (seen 1-5) and plays off the ball. Love his form shooting and tenacity on both ends. Exactly what we need where we should end up picking between 6-12.
