I've always liked him the problem is he isn't a reliable 3 point shooter. He is a legit NBA player though.

He would be an interesting signing. Could play PG/SG/SF for stretches. Good practice player.

He strikes me as a guy that can do a lot of things decently and therefore could end up being a nice enough bench player.

RJ Hunter was waived by Boston.

Gary Payton II waived by the Rockets and it's between former Wolve great Bobby Brown and Witjer for that last spot. If we already didn't have 2 big defensive PGs that were week on shooting I would really want Payton.

Per RW: The Pacers already have 15 guaranteed contracts on the books for this upcoming season, so Bentil is likely headed to the Indiana's D-League affiliate.

If it turns out its just a D-League contract, I'd assume we could still sign him

Vertical Sources: Oklahoma City plans to waive Mitch McGary and Ronnie Price ($5M guaranteed), keep rookie Semaj Christon on final roster.

Edit:

For now, Mitch McGary is hoping to resume career in China or Europe, sources tell @TheVertical. Wherever he plays, he has issues to resolve.

Jordan Farmar has been cut by the Kings. He's a career 37.4% shooter from beyond the arc.
