What kind of equipment? Drums, guitars, amps, etc? Are you a rock star?
Yeah, Abe is definitely the Damien Lillard of the board today. And I need the entertainment because I'm in the middle of a 7-hour equipment delay at O'Hare...oy veh!

I didn't see the game. It really sucks to lose this one. The mass subs does really worry me. It is not allowing him to mix up the groups and see who works together. I am fine with Prince starting, but really want LaVine and Shabazz to get plenty of minutes with Rubio.

I think you make valid points. Honestly I think that 2nd unit has done some good things also. There probably is something to playing with the same guys for a stretch as well and that may pay off. I wasn't sure about that bench group either but there have been some good signs. Everyone should get minutes with Rubio why can't that slacker play 48 mins!?!? :)

Martin doesn't jump high and his shot is easily blockable in end of game situations when you know he's throwing it up. Take the cleaner look and see if these young guys can make the shot. Also there was enough time on the clock where Martin shouldn't be chucking at first touch. His defender was all over him. He just shouldn't have taken that shot when he did, but that's what he does at the end of games. He takes bad shots far away from the basket because for some reason the team thinks that is our best or most reliable offensive weapon at the end of games.
Martin wouldn't be a career 20 point scorer if his shot was easily blockable
It's a totally different ball game when you are defending a guy you know is shooting the ball. Why do you think last second shots are so much more inaccurate than the rest of the game for guys like Kobe, Durant, Lebron, etc.? Defenders can drape all over them because they don't have to worry about getting burned on a drive to the basket. So yes, Martin's shot is easily blockable when defenders know it is going up. Just look at the shots he's closed out two of the first three games with. Both horrible shots that were easily altered by the defenders. During the rest of the game there are other options the defender has to account for than Martin shooting and there are other options Martin has to utilize like driving to the basket or moving the ball. At the end of the game there is one option and defending Martin when you know he's going to chuck up a jump shot is easily defendable and it's why he sucks in crunch time.

For the first time since his April surgery, Nikola Pekovic did some light running today...

When healthy he might be the second best player we have at this time. He will make things tough on opposing teams when him and KAT are playing together.

On a side note. O'Hare is the worst. Hope you make it out alive LST.
Me too...I hate O'Hare. And to make things even worse, the delay is going to drop me into LAX just in time for rush hour :furious: .

Great news! I'm still saying around December 1 we'll start seeing 15 minutes of Pek. And the great thing about having such a limited offense game as Pek, it shouldn't take him too long to get back into form. It will be interesting to see what happens to rotations if Pek can give us 15-20 healthy minutes. After seeing how quick Towns is, I have no doubt he and Pek can be effective on the court at the same time...offensively and defensively.

There is a huge chasm between "light running" and playing NBA basketball. We'll see. If he can give us even 12-15 productive minutes per game, he fills a massive hole in the big man rotation because we simply have nobody that can throw their weight around and help lift our team rebounding percentages.
I just hope Mitchell doesn't do what Flip did and run a bunch of isolation post ups for him. Even when he's healthy, that's not a good way to use him.

Yeah I am caustiously optimistic about Pek being healthy enough to contribute but light running doesn't get me too excited yet...wait is it possible for Pek to run lightly? ;)
Yeah Q either by design or because Pek wasn't fully healthy those post ups were too frequently far out for Pek to be successful.
