I'm so glad we didn't keep Trey Burke.
Wolves fan commiserate here!

And how about Killpatrick? That dude has ice water running through his veins. First he catches fire from outside to help the Wolves stay in the game, then he hits two clutch free throws in OT to preserve the lead....his first free throws ever!

Between him, justin hamilton, jeff adrien and lo brown. the 10 day contract guys has actually given us something this season. They might actually be worth the 14th-15th roster spots and they will come cheap.
It also shows how bad this season went for us when we are talking about the contributions of 10day contract guys.

Yeah, I'm a sucker for unsung "value" players. Hummel, Brown, Adrien, Hamilton so far....Guys that you don't need to pay much, but understand their role and play low-mistake basketball. We haven't seen much of Killpatrick yet, but he certainly seems like one of these guys too.
Brown had another nice floor game by the way. He couldn't quite keep Trey Burke in front of him, but otherwise, he picked up a lot of loose balls/defensive rebounds (an underrated skill for PGs) and ran the offense effectively. He's like a poor man's Rubio out there.

Kept calling LaVine and Wiggins 19yo, couldn't pronounce any players name properly and basically called out the Wolves as a tanking team, while saying...."I know there injuries are real, but tanking ruins the NBA product on the floor.... Over and over again. Grow a pair and say it, don't play both sides. Oh and that tanking team just beat your rested and healthy team with only 7 players, 1 rookie who has only been with the team a few days, a 6 year vet who was deemed a cripple and washed up just a couple weeks ago, a 2nd year player that cannot play defense(according to some on this board), 2 rookies that just turned 20(which is why they are no longer 19 Mr. Harpring,ya rube), a 24yo rookie that we wasted (not my words) a possible first round pick on, and another 10 contract player that couldn't find playing time when we didn't have a real point guard to toss on the court. Did I miss anybody? The kids played with a ton of heart, something that I am not used to seeing from a non-KG led squad. Wiggins was sucking wind most of the 2nd half, and yet he found a spare gas tank and made some big plays down the stretch. LaVine was playing a combo guard role for much of his time on the court, and when he attacked, it looked good. He needs to work on the Westbrook 15' stop and pop. He would be unstoppable with a short game in the lane. Btw, did I say how much fun that game was to watch?????
