....boy, surprised to see a fair amount of guys lower than me. That usually doesn't happen, except for Abe and his Price-is-Right tactic.

This is prediction thread not an expectation thread and I feel the lower 40's is where I predict. The number 43 is sorta the one that keeps popping up in my mind so I am going with that.

47 wins, 7th seed, lose to Clips in 6 in the first round

Thanks for posting last season's predictions. A lot of fun to look at those. I remember how the preseason really soured me even more on the team last season but I couldn't recall how far down I had revised my initial prediction. I'd forgotten that Abe dropped all the way down to 18 wins. He and I clearly watched the same preseason games. Not surprisingly, Abe dropped down even lower than me. :)

Looking at the talent on this roster, the added depth, the huge improvement in the coaching staff and last season's strong finish, I'm predicting 47 wins. But I reserve the right to change that prediction based on the preseason.

Im predicting 51 wins. Wiggins makes the all star team and towns has a very good chance of making the team as well.

One thing to keep in mind when you worry about injuries derailing our season is every team has the same concern. See Gordon Hayward and the Utah Jazz. Some teams WILL lose a lot of man-games. And because of it the conference will not be as tough as it appears today.

My pick is contingent on our big 3 playing 75 games each. If we lose anybody else, I'm confident in our bench to fill in and keep it rolling.

While I think I understood what you were trying to say (and I agreed with it) I also found your post a bit confusing. I had to chuckle at the "I will say we will be within 20 wins of that number." because it possibly reads that you are sure the team will win between 18 and 58 games. :) talk about going out on a limb! Again I think I understand what you were saying that range of wins for this team is smaller than last year.
