Does Jamychal Green not make a ton of sense now for a 15-20 mil per contract?

Rubio/Wiggins/Butler/Green/Towns starting

Yeah, but you and Duke always think Ricky is gone...

A trade seems unlikely. I would expect the majority of our cap space will be spent on adding FAs to fill out our roster. Look at the depth chart:

Rubio / Tyus
Wiggins
Butler
KAT / Belly
Dieng / Aldrich / Patton

Damn! We've got a lot of bodies to add!

It's possible the Wolves keep a couple players that were on the roster last year. Bazz could be one and now with Butler Rush could even make sense or Casspi. Having roster spots to fill can be a good thing. This team has some opportunity for backup roles the way the roster is set up. That could be appealing to some guys especially since Thibs has gotten some good production out of guys that weren't exactly highly regarded when he was in Chicago.

We definitely need wing shooters. Bazz makes no sense at this point - he's gone.

Rush probably makes sense since the one thing he does well is hit 3's at a high percentage. I wouldn't want him to be the first wing off the bench, but I have to belief he can be signed for cheap and be our 4th or 5th wing that plays spot minutes.

I wasn't a huge fan of signing Ibaka, but his shooting makes more sense than ever at this point. But yeah, Ibaka or Ja Green seem like great PF candidates.

I think it's almost mandatory that we resign Rush. And that Thibs designs his offense to get as much out of Rush as others have.

I am worried about our depth now, and of course 3pt shooting. We didn't address the PF spot, opened a hole at backup PG, and still lack a bench all with 10 mil less to spend. Not sure how we fill out at backup pg, sg, sf, or PF now as Dieng really should be our 1st big off the bench. Thins must be considering moving forward with Belly starting at PF?

Rubio/?/Tyus
Wiggins/?
Butler/?
Belly/Dieng/Patton
Towns/Dieng/Aldrich/Patton

Any injury is difficult to overcome, but we will really feel it now. Not to mention that Jimmy averages 15 missed games a year. That's tough to overcome in the West. Ricky is likely good for near 10 games missed as well.

I do like our 2 undrafted signings and our invitation to Burton for summer league. Really wished we had bought that pick for Bell..

Yeah, and because Thibs went the developmental route with #16, Patton is of no help this year (not that I disagree with the move).

He and Layden are going to have to work overtime to patch up the holes for sure. There are quite a few of them.

Bah a Moute or Tolliver seem like good targets. Gibson is a possibility. Rush or CJ Miles. And there are a ton of vet backup PGs available.

Yup, I think we have enough $ to go get one significant FA and then we need to go collect a bunch of solid, cheap vets. Let's hope we get more out of them next year than we did from Rush, Aldrich, and Hill this year.....

Probably can go 1 elite role player than flyers.

Or 2 above average role players and the rest flyers.

I would like something like thabo, Korver, Clark, Muscala and either rush/Casspi

Or something like that

I'd take Lou Williams off the Rockets hands now that we need a backup PG. Then I'd re-sign Casspi and Rush on the cheap. Then see if Millsap will take a little bit of a discount to play for us.

Ricky/Lou/Tyus
Butler/Lou/Rush
Wiggins/Casspi
Millsap/Belly/Patton
Towns/G/Aldrich
