In case you didnt see jason the heat offered wade 10 million. If that isnt a slap in the face i dont know what is. Some guy named solomon hill just got more than that. Thats called screwing the face of your franchise. Sad really.

Yep, Wade took less than he could have demanded in order to bring the big 3 to Miami, and has been the unquestioned face of the franchise. If I were Wade I'd be looking for a new home, not trying to help Miami lure in more talent.

Boy Riley sure is burning bridges in Miami. Rumors are he was the one who told Lebron going back to Cleveland was the biggest mistake of his life. Now he's lowballing Wade. Big names aren't gonna want any part of Miami if he's gonna manage the team and treat players that won him multiple championships like that.

Yeah, if he sticks it to Wade like this, he will lose a ton of respect. Personally, I'd never take a paycut in that business and hope that down the road someone remembers that i did and agrees to pay me big money when im older and a lesser player.

Wade is reportedly asking 20mil. He's not Durant, Horford, etc. but if this drags on would you consider offering him a 2 year 20 mil per contract with a player option for the second year? I assume this would be after we strike out on other targets, as i expect this Wade thing to extend for a bit. I like the idea of his leadership and winning pedigree, but I worry the spacing with Wade, Wiggins, and Rubio would be awful.

With what players are getting paid 20 million a year for Wade is more than fair. He is still a good player, not very durable, but if you preserve him throughout the season he can be a huge contributor in the playoffs.

Once again, TEN MILLIONS DOLLARS IS A LOT OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!! FOR DOING ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it is such little money, pay him $11m to play video games with you.

What is your plan for the Heat having $52m locked up in 5 players, and half of that on Bosh, WHO IS NOT CLEARED TO PLAY!!!! Is you Avatar a selfie?

I hate this argument. Joe Johnson just got 11 million, but Wade should settle for 10 because Joe the plumber makes 60K a year so Wade should be happy with 10 million. That's bullshit. Riley should be giving Wade the Kobe treatment with what he's done for that franchise and he's lowballing him. Everyone's getting paid except for the greatest player in Heat franchise history who helped them win 3 titles. He deserves more and should ask for more without getting shit from guys like you because his business allows him to get more than that and his GM is a human pile of garbage.

I had forgotten about Joe Johnson. I would've liked his veteran experience on this team along with a still reliable jumpshot.

I don't think Wade should get the Kobe treatment (because the Kobe money wasn't the best thing) but 15 million or something like that seems more reasonable than 10. However we don't know what Riley's plan was that he put forth to Wade. Maybe it included him signing certain guys to put forth a legit contender with Wade if he took that lower salary. Other legacy players in the league have taken less money so it's no exactly ridiculous that Wade could do it.

Yeah i agree with khans. If u want to get into arguing about 10 million being a lot of money your arguing the wrong thing. These athletes all make more money then u could dream about. That doesnt mean you cant screw someone over. The guy is miami heat basketball and is still very good. You dont do a guy like that. The avatar is my son, but you sir are a bold man. U must be the smartest man in this room. And your maturity level is through the roof. If only i could be as great as you old wise one. God forbid someone disagree with you and hurt your poor little feelings.
