Doug Collins called it. It's been a problem all year, which is rotating into the paint to help the helper on screen and roll. Make them throw a skip pass.

With Bazz playing so well and Lavine stinking it up it would be interesting to see Bazz inserted into the starting lineup at SF and move Wiggins to SG. Given Bazz's defensive improvement and give him more minutes and he'd likely outproduce Lavine offensively too and Wiggins would certainly benefit.
*If I weren't so lazy I could have turned that into one impressive run on sentence rather than two not terrible sentences but right now I'm in bored Wiggins mode.

I'm pretty sure there is nothing about his game that has been blessed recently.

The formula seems consistent. When the quality player on the other team is the 3 no way Wiggins keeps up. Wiggins is a 2, I don't want him to bulk up. I want him to play more of his natural position.

I've been saying this since Wiggins was on the team. Start Bazz with Wiggins, let them muck it up and create havoc. We have the potential for matchups in our favor that we don't take out of convention.

Well, I wasn't expecting a victory, but after that first half, I was hoping we'd keep it competitive. They just simply outworked us.
- LaVine was awful. I thought he had cut out those little pump fake, then step into a contested long 2 shots, but he tried a few tonight. Aaaaaand he missed his wide open 3's too. Not good.
- Wiggins made some shots, but 3 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals, and 0 blocks just isn't going to get it done. He has to do more than just score. This issue keeps rearing its ugly head with him.
- KAT with a solid game, but defensively he and Dieng were late on rotations to protect the paint time and again.
- Rubio had a solid game offensively, but was killed defensively in the first half.
- Bazz played well again.
- Dunn was a disaster on offense....like, get the ball out of his hands bad. I think once he literally just fell and lost the ball without any contact.
Just overall a terrible second half.

I missed this one thankfully and am not surprised at the result. Looks like we played one competitive half at least. Rough box score from Zach, he hasn't been the same since that injury. And he was only a good one way player before that.
Oh well, I hope they forget about this one fast and focus on the crucial 7 game stretch coming up, including 6 in a row at home. This could be sink or swim time regarding the 8th seed. Only 33 games left. I don't expect them to make it but it would be nice to see them in the race right up until the end, instead of the usual meaningless tank for ping pong ball games--have seen enough of those to last a lifetime.
