That was entertaining to type. Felton with a huge game a double double points and rebounds. Carlise is so damn good.
Three more Dallas wins and I get to hit you with a classic "told ya so."
I'm only kidding, but what a game. And what a horrible showing from Kevin Durant. Just couldn't get anything to fall, not to mention the questionable shot selection late.
I love that Stanley Johnson was being physical with LeBron the other night. When asked if he was afraid of the moment, he said "Why would I be?" He's not scared, I'll you that. He's just going against the best player in the world (in my opinion).
This is one of the saddest things I have seen in a long time in professional sports. Harden hits the game winner, the crowd goes nuts, but the Rockets' bench (with the exception of one guy) looks dejected. "Come on, James...you're going to make us play another game? We have plans, man!". We expect this kind of disinterest from a jerk like Howard, but check out Brewer and Sam Dekker...just terrible.

I think it tells you as much of what they think of James Harden as it does anything else. That team has two crappy leaders in Howard and Harden.

I was curious about what other people thought about his comments. Some people are ripping him about saying stuff like he is in Lebron's head and he is too young and shouldn't be disrespecting Lebron like that. I like he is stepping up to the challenge. The argument that he will fuel Lebron is silly to me. I can't imagine how Lebron could be any more motivated than he already is. Stanley is probably saying some of this stuff to fire himself up. I don't think he is showing any disrespect to Lebron either he called him a great player etc etc but ties his shoes up just like the rest of us.

I think the most amazing part of that video is Brewer doing a slow clap. Is that Corey Brewer after being hit with a tranquilizer dart meant for a Rhino? That guy is always fired up. Morey really miscalculated bringing in Lawson. I think that passed the boiling point of good players (Lawson ended up being terrible) that um...I don't know exactly how to characterize it but yeah. Houston needs to get a good coach let Howard go and roll with a younger roster and maybe bring in a couple solid vet guys. It was just a few months ago Harden was playing defense and all was great. Is Harden a leader? No but I think he can still be a heck of a 2-way player. If Morey sticks around he needs to get back to being smart and not swinging for the fences on talent.

I love the way Johnson has gone about it. I love that competitive nature. I think the whole pandering to superstars creates almost a self fulfilling prophecy of losing. Take your game to them. Try to knock them off theirs. I personally love it.

I don't think you can win the big one with Harden as "the guy". Heck of a talent. One of the best players in the league. Just doesn't have that focus and leadership the greats have. Michael and Kobe were great talents, but their mentalitity is the reason they won so much. I don't see Harden and Howard having anywhere near that mentalitity.

Yeah agreed. I think that both guys are more like Shaq. Very good players (Shaq was great) but not the guy that leads to the win. I said the same thing about Cousins when he came into the league as well. That doesn't mean you don't want these players it's just you can't expect them to be "the guy".
I wouldn't link Shaq in with those guys. Go look at what Shaq did in the playoffs and you'll see that he was just as big of a factor to winning, if not more so, than Kobe was. He was also huge in Miami when they won. So, while I think I get what the idea is, using Shaq as an example isn't necessarily accurate from my view. Shaq was a winner.
