He was pretty backward as a 90s sports owner too. He basically lucked out with Garnett then complained publically as soon as it went sour when he was spending luxury tax money. The fact of the matter is that in spite of all his ineptitude, he is still in line for a windfall when he sells. I can't see why he is dragging his heals, unless he believes that a couple of years in the playoffs will net him a few hundred million more.

Yes, I love those "Settlers" commercials....there should be a version of that to mock Glen Taylor with how often he settles for things.

There was plenty of fun to be had by watching this game imo. Zach has been struggling and Tyus hasn't been nearly as effective. Those guys have been key in their roles making this team worth watching.

To be fair Taylor took over the saddest franchise in sports and they were in the playoffs what like 2-3 years later? Glen might not be a genius but let's give him some credit for what he was able to do early on.

Tyus really has been struggling overall. Payne was absolutely brutal in the first half although I get why Sam went to him to cover Dirk over Smith. Payne was less like a Labrador on speed in the 2nd half but was fortunate that the refs were letting him absolutely mug Dirk otherwise he would have fouled out of the game in like 5 seconds. Lol

You mentioned a while back bringing in a guy like Ronnie Price. We need a solid vet backup/3rd guard type when Tyus can't get it done. There are usually a few of those guys available every year and are pretty cheap. Like I said before I am with you on Price I've always liked him.
