You play Bazz at the PF spot at times to get your best players on the floor. That's part of why people have been doing small ball for years. Sure it creates matchup problems etc but that's because the guy/s you throw out there brings something to the table that matters. Hopefully enough guys on this team show something to make it difficult to get time for everyone like most of us expect or hope for. So many other seasons it's just turned out to be pitiful for one reason or another or a landslide of them.

because of Wiggins length I think he would be better at PF than Shabazz defensively. He should have no problem guard small ball 4's. A like of Rubio/LaVine/Shabazz/Wiggins/Towns would be very athletic.

Has anyone seen links to the entire media day PC? I watched what they had on the Timberwolves.com website but it didn't have all the players and no coaches. Last night I listened to all the wolves radio interviews with Horton they had up. I am probably not missinguxh but if anyone has links I wouldn't mind checking them out.

But not a lot of shooting. Would have a hard time spacing the floor

I haven't found anything yet, monster, but I'm also interested since I wasn't able to see any yesterday. Anybody?

Here's Robson's take on yesterday. While I agree that Mitchell's words about threes are similar to Flip's from a year ago, his history is substantially different. I'm going to say actions trump words, and expect that we will see many more threes this year.

I have no idea what is going on here. It seems to be a latter part of the presser. The Martin interview is pretty early on...

[Edit: So this is the last part of the live stream presser. It is almost 40 minutes. It includes the end of the Rudez interview and both the Martin and Towns interviews. There is time in between interviews that you skip ahead on... ]

Martin is a great guy. I like his demeanor. I am glad that it is him ahead of some of these kids. If any of his offensive footwork can rub off on Bazz or Wiggins that is great. Because like Martin, neither are going to be dominant off the bounce.

Towns is kind of funny. He seems to be really trying to use big words but doesn't quite have the vocabulary. I like the interview though. He seems very focused.

The Wolves website could be better in a lot of areas. I do know it's not a simple task as i know people who do various aspect of websites. You sort of expect something a little better of a pro sports team though.

If you go to this page and scroll down they have the interviews with Horton for the Wolves Radio. I always find Pek fun to listen to and Bazz sounds giddy. Rudez is very well spoken.

In addition to Miller and "Belly", the Prince, Bazz and Mitchell Media Day Press Conferences are now up on timberwolves.com. They are an interesting listen...
