Mark..the 76ers is a golden showcase of the Bench and its solid performance. But VS. to many teams its a nasty nasty Negative. OKC...down 51 and lost by a bucket. That in itself is the issue, its a roller coaster...and all this team needs to be a top 5 West team is for the Bench to be consistant and keep it close. Our Starting 5 is one of the best, let me rephrase that...starting 4 is solid. Brewer needs to be our Bench spark.

Soon enough, Slim. When Buddinger comes back, Brewer will be coming off the bench, and taking minutes from LRMaM and Shved. Hummel has played alright, so I anticipate him still getting minutes.

I don't think he will be. Brewer is needed in the starting lineup for defense. The offensive production the starters put out is the best in the league and doesn't need to be added to. Bud will hopefully provide some consistent bench scoring.

Not sure I would classify Hummel's play as "alright". He has a singular job on this team...to shoot....and he is shooting 36% from the floor. I am actually shocked he wasn't cut by deadline given the non-guarenteed status of his contract. Not sure he or Shved should ever see an NBA floor again....but alas, we aren't swimming in quality depth on the bench...so they probably play.

Hopefully quoting two posts that bad doesn't crash the internet. Here goes.
1. Basketball is pretty simple. The goal is to have more points at the end of the game than the other team. You can do that by scoring 111 and giving up 110, or by scoring 81 while giving up 80. Chase Budinger does a better job of helping his team have more points at the end of the game than Corey Brewer does. The end of part one.
2. Any time you get tired of a world where #58 picks making $500k get to keep their jobs, feel free to return to yours. The end of part two.

I don't know if you actually watch the wolves Jason, but so far Bud hasn't done anything other than suck up too much salary and a roster spot. His D was terrible for the few games he played last season, and isn't likely to improve after another knee surgery. His shooting is average, and he doesn't have another dimension to his game.
Hummel isn't even average at any aspect of the game. I have no idea how he even made the roster.

So once again, Budinger sucks compared to Brewer, Hummel isn't worth $500K, and Pek can't play defense, but I AM the one not watching the Wolves?

Yes Bud sucks right now, and I don't expect that to get much better this season. Who cares what Hummel makes? He doesn't have the talent or athletic ability to be a solid player in the NBA. I have never said Pek can't play defense. I said he can't play PnR defense, and that he wasn't good on help defense. Am I wrong?

Right now?!?!?! He's INJURED right now! Great job taking a shot at an injured guy, but that seems to be going around the board lately.
Hummel is doing fine, and if LRMaM, Shved or Shabazz ever put on their big boy pants and outplay him, so what? HE MAKES FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND!
As I said on the thread you started about this (and again, really?): IF PEK DID EVERY SINGLE THING ABSOLUTELY FUCKING PERFECT, HE WOULD NOT HAVE LASTED UNTIL THE SECOND ROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some team would have drafted him and waited the four years needed for the rookie salary structure to expire. Sounds like a lot, but that what you do for absolutely fucking perfect players.

Bud isn't injured. He is practicing with no restrictions. He may even play tonight. He just isn't back into game shape.
How is Hummel doing fine. He is a horrible defender, who may know where he is supposed to be, but can't guard anyone when he gets there. His offense has been atrocious to this point. Way to take a shot at an injured player in LRMAM. I guess it is going around the board lately.
Is this Pek rant your way of saying you were wrong. Apology accepted.
