Unreal. Love uncharacteristically missed the first two FTs. Wow.

4 bullshit FTs for the Thunder under a minute. Jackson with 2 and Lamb with 2.
Still not excusable, though. Love missed the money FTs. Can't believe it.

You just cannot make this shit up. Again we have nobody to blame but ourselves, but that won't stop me from blaming the refs anyway. Those last two calls on Brewer were phantom calls. And even worse it took him out of the game so he couldn't guard Durant on the game winner.

We invent a new way to lose close games every time.

I'm just waiting on the time we actually convert a buzzer beating basket, only for it to be waived off for an illegal screen or something. That's one we haven't seen yet. Ugh.

Yeah, another shoulda woulda coulda...
On the bright side, if we ever figure out how to finish some of these games, we'll be golden.
It was another 5-point night for the bench tonight. Wow! I'm not surprised JJ doesn't like the bench being called out, because as PG, it's his job to get good shots for this teammates on the floor. He's kind of terrible at it, not to mention his non-existant defense. I really wish we had an alternative to him...

What more do you want from the starters though?? Aside from the missed FTs because yes, that's the biggest part of the game, but how many NBA teams can beat quality opponents with 5 points from the bench? It's absurd. Rubio, Martin, Brewer, Love and definitely Pek. They all were fantastic tonight.
Some think it's too optimistic to think Bud will change our team in a big way. I beg to differ. Assuming Bud's at least a 10 PPG player, how wouldn't that be huge for our team? That's 10 points we're not getting right now and it's showing up in close games. 5 points from the bench in multiple nights? Yeah, I'm certain Bud can help in a big way.

48pts on Durant is really not that great job imho

Please tell me you don't think that's all on Brewer. I understand if you didn't watch the game and are just reading into the box score, but Corey played well tonight. Contested a ton of KD's shots and was also in foul trouble all game due to some piss poor officiating. Then DC was assigned to guard KD and he got into foul trouble which forced Hummel to guard him, who was terrible. The biggest thing, though, is that Durant was hot and feeling it tonight. Same type of punishment could have been given to any defender in the NBA.
Corey: 6/14, 2/4 FT, 1/4 3P, 15 pts, 3 stl, 3 ast. Pretty good defense despite the factors against him. I thought he played well.
