That would have been sweet if he got the shot to go. I was surprised we actually got the rebound off the missed free throw. It would have been very 2015 Wolves to get a missed free throw only to cough up the board. Solid effort all around. Hopefully Mo is ok otherwise we have no more Brewer backup PG.

Yeah, that whole thread on Wiggins looks real lame now. But in defense of all those skeptics, Wiggins was in a slump at the time...

Barely 30 games into his career his slump was somehow seen as predictive of his future. I really don't think those skeptics should be getting a defense.

Would have been a great moment if it went in. National TV, big night for him - could have been a signature game for his young career.

Okay, we'll hold Q, Abe, Cam, et al, and you shoot 'em...

That's a bit extreme. How 'bout an atomic wedgie? That should teach'em!!

Almost all the benefits of winning, plus ping pong balls.

I wish we would have won, these guys still need to learn how to win

Of course, just trying to look at the bright side.

That thread continues to be skewed beyond recognition. Nobody that I remember made that claim.

Most of the people in that thread weren't necessarily skeptics... they simply had the audacity to point out that Wiggins was playing poorly and one of the least efficient shooters getting regular run in the NBA at the time. Almost every one used the caveat that it was still "too early" to make any long-term predictions. So that narrative can end at any time...

It's ok to rip players when they are struggling. Just like it's ok to celebrate them when they're playing well. By the way, I dug his tenacity/aggressiveness in that 4th quarter. On one play, instead of handing the ball off the inbound back to Mo Williams to bring it up, he took it up himself, drove, spun and laid it in. I also liked him simply taking the ball away late after the Suns grabbed a defensive board.

This stretch of games is making The Promise of Hope seem... well... promising.
