Bud was option number two boys. First option was Young and they couldn't get it to him.

I did not watch the game tonight, but if bud makes the spot flip is a genius, Bud missed it's a make or miss league and he missed this one

I'm confused why Bud faded (slightly) on that shot. If I recall correctly, he had Jet on him. As for the overtime shot, I would have rather seen a forced lob to Zach or Drew.

Lots of blame for Flip's play for Bud here, but I think it was more of a mistake not to double Harden earlier in the game. Brewer with a couple nice defensive plays there against a guy who is really tough to guard. His block and 3 pointer were huge for us.

Nice to see the guys make a run at the end of regulation, but the youth showed down the stretch. Bad D by Dieng, LaVine with a bad pass, questionable shot, and loose D, Wiggins missing the chance to really just pound that little guy guarding him down and get multiple layups until they doubled him or got a bigger guy to guard him.

Still, all three of those young guys showed some nice moments in the game, and Bazz with another nice game. Shame we couldn't pull out a win, but at least we got our guys some playing time in crunch time. That's how you learn. They've definitely got some tape they can look at to figure out how to get better.

Also, the moment I fell in love with Adrien: when he yelled "Gimme that sh*t!" just before blocking a guy twice down low. Who says "gimme" for a block?! Hilarious. I love the attitude.

Ha, plus he has the best haircut on the team!

The Wolves kind of won me back last night after a horrible night against the 76ers. That stretch in the second quarter when Adrein, Bennett, Bazz, Bud and Corey (at PG) were on the court was really fun to watch...our three big guys just bullied the Rockets on the boards. The rebounding all night was fun to watch after losing the boards battle so often recently...all nine guys had between 3 and 7 boards with Corey leading the way. And Zach really skied for a couple. I've read some criticism of AB's defense tonight here, but I saw it differently. He played Do-Mo tough despite giving up 4 inches of height, and showed the kind of help defense Flip has been calling for. Brewer led the 4th quarter comeback and was a stat stuffer all night...15-7-6 with 3 blocks and 2 steals. All in all, am entertaining night in front of what looked like about 6000 fans.

As for Harden, I share other's dislike for him. But man is he good! And he's even playing defense this year. He's the main reason the Rox are 15-4 despite Dwight being out half the year.

Whoa, yeah, I was actually kind of pleased with Bennett's D on Montajunas. He was using his weight fairly well to keep him away from the basket, and I like how he fronted him physically as well. Forced a turnover with that in a key moment.

Harden is the best SG in the league. It made me think about how it took him a few years to put it together where Tyreke Evans was the boss from day one and now has regressed. I think some of it is the player, but the teams they played for had a lot to do with it in my eyes.

I wish Bazz would get more play. He should have been in at the end of the game and during OT. He helps clean up misses so much. Also I will not be t heart broken if Thad Young opts out. Bennett and Adrien are giving us more at this point.

Ugh, all Wiggins had to do was turn baseline. The little guy was hedging so hard to the middle that a quick drop step or spin baseline would have been an easy layup. Wiggins just didn't recognize it.

Boy, not so sure about that. The problem with Thad is the same as it is for all of our healthy vets: He's asked to do too much. It's no different than last year on the Sixers, when he put up a career low WS/48. He's even worse this season. But I blame it mostly circumstances. On a great team, Young would be coming off the bench as a small-ball 4.

My issue with Young lately is his reluctance to shoot the 3. That was a new dimension he started adding to his game last season (with mixed results) and he started this season looking very confident. Now suddenly he's bypassing wide open looks and choosing to put the ball on the floor instead. And the few shots he has taken have not looked good.

Young isn't big or strong enough to truly compete inside as a starting 4. He's going to need to develop that 3-ball in order to keep his game relevant in today's NBA. Of course, I highly doubt Flip will be encouraging him to take that shot. Sometimes all a player needs is a green light from coach to boost his confidence. As we all know, some teams unabashedly hunt for the 3-ball and consider it a good shot almost no matter who is taking it, as long as it's open. Not us.
