At this point you bench anyone for the rest of the game if they didn't play hard in the first half. There are too many guys wanting to play for anyone to take a night off or not give 100%.

The Pelicans starting backcourt hasn't missed a shot - Combing for 25 points off 9 shots.
Martin shouldn't have bothered suiting up tonight and Peks continuing to prove he is ineffective against athletic centers on both ends of the court.

This is getting ugly. no flow in the offense at all. Martin, pek and mo are playing like crap. Pek and martin dont have to rubio to set them up and mo is cold after being hot in pre season.
At this point, flip bette just go to wiggins at the post. No sense in running the offense when martin and pek needs rubio to set them up. Free lavine to free lance and create. Bennet might still be injured but he has got to be more assertive in there. Dieng looks lost after getting the start and not playing his usual role.

We are seeing in this game that thad, rubio and brew are the tough minded vets that are ideal leaders. They find ways to contribute something and play hard every game even when they cant shoot it. Mo has leadership qualities as well but he is only effective when his shooting is on.
Pek and martin are not the ideal vets to have around. Too soft. Bud and turiaf are too deep on the bench to make a difference.

Why is it that our back up PG always suck. I think we are cursed in that department.

It's gonna be 8 weeks before this team looks remotely functional. Not good, just functional.
