It will be interesting. After 1 game Shabazz is playing better then Budinger and Brewer. If he does that for 7 out of the first 10 games do we move ahead of them for the rest of the season?

Q, I am not sure where the "being rushed back" comes from. Bud took twice the expected time to recover from his injury. Clearly every person is different, and Bud likely continued to have swelling which set back his return, but from that fact alone I would be looking to trade him. I think his knee is a walking time bomb.
Bud never had great lateral movement, and so has always been limited defensively. I would have hoped that he could bridge that gap with his BBIQ, but I think that has been overstated as well. What we are left with is an average/above average shooter on a good day, and you have always told me that a player needs to do at least one thing really well. I just don't see the upside in continuing to give him minutes he isn't earning unless we are still showcasing him for a trade.
Let's hope he has a big night tonight in front of Stan.

I'm not saying that Flip is wrong for giving him some run. I am saying that saying that there is plenty of evidence to raise doubt about his ability to contribute anymore.
