BTW, I really like the way this poll is going (even though I'm still thinking "no deal"). If the board is right again, the Wolves will have unloaded a disgruntled bad locker room guy, and picked up a potential superstar (plus other young pieces).
Nationally, people expect us to do the wrong/stupid/weak thing. Not sure why there's any confusion on that point. An informal poll of an exceedingly small and biased subset of people doesn't alter or in any way determine the league-wide perception of this team as an incompetent laughing stock. That will only change when we demonstrate our ability to play even semi-hard ball.
Got it. I don't disagree that the sports media might have some of those feelings. It's clear that the posters on this board don't see Flip rolling over.
I guess I don't get it? I understand that they hold wiggins to a high standard and there doing their due diligence and there trying not to give him up, but they've a chance to acquire another top 5 player in one day. Why not pull the trigger right away. I like wiggins a lot but why would not trade the unsure rookie in wiggins and bennet and a 1st for the sure thing love. Unless there so confident that wiggins will be way better in a couple years than love.

Right, but it was reported that they had told him that earlier this week. This makes it sound like they've told him again today which is what I don't like. Granted things can quickly change and I think it will. The Cavs are probably trying to get smaller moves done before pulling the trigger on any trade anyway.
I want Flip to leak that no deal has a chance of happening without Wiggins. We just look horrible letting these national reporters keep reporting these awful deals Cleveland and GS are feeding them to make us look incompetent. I want Flip to text Broussard to shove it and stop reporting the crap these guys are offering because he won't take it. Take a stand on who needs to be in the deal and have someone leak it so we stop getting these reports of awful deals. Stop letting the media make us look like a kid in a man's game and let them know we are the team with the leverage. Otherwise start leaking that the Wolves are looking to deal Love for Lebron so the reporters just STFU. Hang up the dang phone Flip if Wiggins isn't on the table.

I voted "neither" because I would like to think our front office is talking to more teams than just Cleveland. Yes, Wiggins + filler would be OK, but I would be very intrigued by a Chicago deal that nets us more players that can make an impact right away.
It is completely asinine or anyone to think Love is available without Wiggins.
I guess when LeBron goes back to Cleveland, they get their sense of righteousness back and the media will always be righteous with their darlings, LeBron included. How dare Minnesota not just give Love away for pieces we do not need anymore?
I'm not the biggest Wiggins guy but recognize his value in a deal here. I am starting to just want this deal to get done so I can see Cavs fans backpedal as well as GS fans say "Hmm I guess Flip was serious."

a very vehement +1
Come on, Flip...stop the madness!
One time recently on Funkadelic Flip went off about how he says if you are gonna say something put your name to it. He sounded as pissed off as you are. Flip has been running a pretty quiet ship the only exception was it seemed like people knew about LaVine.
I'm watching Around the Horn on ESPN, and they are all advocates for the Cavs giving up whatever it takes to land Love. One guy even suggested Kyrie should be on the table!
Very good for the majority opinion in this poll...
