The bucks and cavs mentioned above are potential trade partners in my view. They seem to need a shakeup and pek will fit nicely on their teams. I think that how we should approach any trade involving pek look for teams that would be great fits for pek and see what they have to offer. It don't necessarily have to be a trade with that team but we can explore a 3 team or multi team trade involving the players .

A team I could see pek fitting nicely into would be the pelicans, I can see them offering Evans or anderson for him, now Evans and anderson are not really what we are looking for but we can explore swapping them to another team and get the players we want.

Then we explore deals out there for Evans and Anderson. Can we trade Evans to Denver for straight up swap for gallinari? How about Anderson+ shabazz+ shved to Toronto for ross + fields and Hayes expirings?

A love -gallo - dieng- Rubio- Ross starting lineup would be a nice combination.

We can also look at Washington and see if we can trade +bud for a sign and trade for gortat and ariza. There will be options for us. We just have to make the most of it.

So we give up the two best players in the trade? I've always liked Evans as a talent, but other than his really hot March, he's been a huge disappointment in NO. Evans is also getting paid practically the same as Pek per year. I wouldn't do this deal and here's other reasons why. As constructed, we're a team that needs to out-score our opponents. We could use more two-way players, to say the least. Is Evans/Anderson better on defense than Pekovic/Martin? Because they're certainly not better on offense. Also, the two best three-point shooters we'd have after this deal would be our two power forwards. For some reason, I don't think that's a good recipe for success.

Now, I do realize you said we could explore deals for Evans and Anderson. I feel like we would be working ourselves into a sticky situation, though. Denver says no to the Evans/Gallo swap (side note: I bet Denver lands Shumpert this off-season). Toronto's very likely to hold on to Ross also; he's shown growth this year. I fear we'd be stuck with Evans and have to hope he finds his ROY ways or continue playing how he is this March for another three years. If not, we have a really bad contract on our hands. No reason to have an $8M per year backup PF either. Maybe we could ship Anderson to Houston for Asik? Not sure, but you can see how the NO trade idea gets complicated for us.

If I was Washington's decision maker, I would re-sign both Gortat and Ariza. They've been terrific this year and they fit with Wall/Beal well. They just need a bench... much like the Timberwolves.

How about a S&T with Cleveland for Deng. He is exactly what this team needs going forward. A two way player with length.

This might be the best idea I've seen so far as it pertains to the universe of Pek trade possibilities. I'm skeptical of finding a deal that brings back equal value, but this one is pretty damn close.

I think you could make an argument for either side but the fact that Deng is a WAY better fit for us would seal the deal for me

Deng doesn't make an impact. Look at what happened to the Bulls when they traded him and the Cavs would then landed him. Why overpay for him? At least Pek is a top 10 player at his position. I am not sure Deng is.
