Mcdaniels did not make all defense team

The other thing to think about with McDaniels is that he may be more relied upon to generate more offense and therefore his defensive responsibilities may be cut back a little bit in the future. That's not a bad thing if he keeps growing his offensive game, but it could prevent him from being a 1st team all-defense type guy in the future. If we re-sign NAW, I think he can help take on a bigger load in defending guards and wings.

Jaden did well in the annual survey of players by the Athletic. He finished 6th in the best defensive player category, and 5th in the most underrated player vote.
