What's surprising to me is the consistency across three very different levels of competition. Nothing jumps out as amazing here, but nothing jumps out as terrible either. Given his age, athleticism, room to add weight, and lack of overall playing experience (including college), it seems like there could be a ton more upside here. We'll see.
Thanks for that, Q...I'm also quite intrigued by Minott. Also thanks to Lip for reminding of what Larry Brown said about Minott last summer. Here's an article that includes the Brown comments.

Great article, FNG. Thanks for posting! It was a great read to help fill the void that comes with not having a 1st round pick in this year’s draft. :). Reading the article reminded me that it wasn’t just Larry Brown but also other respected basketball minds who were really, really high on Josh Minott. I simply don’t view him as just “another shiny object.” He still has a lot to prove, But the physical tools are there. Add to his physical tools the fact that he has a really high-octane motor and a chip on his shoulder. Those are the ingredients for really good things.

Josh Richardson is a free agent and versatile player who could fit in the Wolves rotation. There was a time when Miami was reluctant to include him in a trade package for Butler to the Wolves though they later did to trade him to Philly as the main piece. Hart, Richardson, Shake Milton and Jevon Carter would all be updgrades to our rotation and hopefully we can get one of them.
It was kinda fun to look back and see what the Sixers got back for Jimmy Butler.

And Bruce Brown just opted out...

And here is TC's media availability today:

Obviously nothing given away, but I find his takes pretty interesting.

Good stuff. I guess I haven't been paying attention. That's the first I've heard (taken notice) that there will be a third 2-way roster spot. That's good news. Last year we had Matt Ryan and Luka Garza both give us some good minutes. Perhaps with lack of draft picks this year we can find another guy or two from another team like we did with those two.

Also of note, I was thinking with us drafting so far down that maybe an International guy might be worth a flyer. But in your link, TC states it's a weak International draft, so I don't think that will happen.

Just listened to it. The more I listen to Connelly the more I like him. But I’m still not sure I trust him to make good decisions. He’ll have to earn that trust with his actions after the Rudy deal. Similar to his interview with Danny B, Connelly indicated that he’s focused on the near term (next season) and that the Wolves plan to run it back with the same core guys. He said, “we’re pretty excited about our core guys.” I assume the core guys he’s referring to are Ant, Jaden, KAT and Rudy. I’m not sure who else he has in mind as part of the “core” that he’s “pretty excited about.” Kyle Anderson? Naz Reid? Taurean Prince? The answer to that question would help identify the players the Wolves might trade tomorrow to move up or into the first or early second round. I’m with Sundog in assuming that Prince is a potential trade candidate to move up in the draft. But I still wouldn’t bet on anything happening.

That “weak international draft” comment was a good smokescreen!!! Lol I thought it was interesting how he pointed out how young Spangnolo is. It too bad he isn’t healthy I was looking forward to seeing him in SL. Now that’s in jeopardy. No worries Wendell Moore Jr can lead the team to the summer league championship game without him! :)

I am literally THRILLED hearing that there I’ll be a third 2-way contract. I think it’s great for players and the league. I haven’t seen anything about it other than this video. Must be fairly new.

I think there are some things to glean from what Connelly said. Massive super interesting things? No but I thought it was a little interesting when he said that if someone they liked that dropped into the 2nd round they would be aggressive and try and go up and get them.

Monster - I think you hit on the most interesting comment TC made about aggressively pursuing a player they like who drops. I also thought it was interesting to hear that, in his words, he’s “talked to every team several times” about possible draft deals. He added that conversations don’t get serious until the last 24 hours. But TC has certainly been active in exploring possibilities.
