 I don't think it's "hand-wringing" though. There just isn't much else to talk about until camp starts. I've written it before and I'll write it again. I appreciate guys keeping this forum going during the slow times. If it ends up being 20 pages of Leonard Miller and Josh Minott - so be it. At least they are contributing something!

And hats off to Lip for literally carrying the last Summer game thread on his back without any help!
lol. Thanks, Carlos! I did my best. It’s sort of weird when people get annoyed by posts that focus on things that don’t interest them or that they don’t consider important. It’s a message board after all. And it’s summer league, which means it’s all about players who likely won’t be (but maybe could be) consequential in the regular season. And you can only write so much about Dilly and TSJ. So some of us write about Miller and Minott. Wolves management certainly considers those two players important parts of the organization. And both, especially Minott, have shown improvement from last summer. They probably have as much chance of being consequential as Dozier next season. But more importantly, they remain longer term assets. I’m not excited about those two like I am Dilly and TSJ. But I’m intrigued and hopeful.

Somebody help this guy out! I don't have nba tv so I can't add much. Nice to see big games from Rob and Miller though.
Same I didn't have the game to watch. The highlights of Dilly were really great though. His passing is electric. He might have the best handle and passing skill of any Wolves player, great touch, vision, ball control and quickness.

He has some things to work on certainly though, finishing around the rim, 3P shot, defense, etc... But it is nice to see some great skills you can build upon.

I was OK with your post, Cool. I think we all agree there isn’t a lot to write about at the moment. All we’ve had since the draft is summer league and there are only four or five Wolves summer league players worth writing about. I find Miller and Minott intriguing prospects, but I probably won’t be writing about either one in the regular season. :) I should clarify that just because I don’t understand getting annoyed at writing a lot about marginal players doesn’t mean it’s out of bounds or unreasonable to be annoyed. :). It’s every American’s right to be annoyed. Seriously, your post wasn’t nasty or disrespectful and it didn’t bother me at all.

Was Jarret Culver playing for the Magic? I just noticed a J Culver in the box score.

Yes. Culver was a disappointment with us on offense, but he was generally a solid defender. Dane Moore posted several videos of Rob beating Culver off the dribble.

Finally got around to watching this game. Here are my thoughts without reading anything from this board.

Nix offense was straight trash. The D was there though and he was flying around making lots of hustle plays.

Dillingham looked damn good.

Minott looked awesome early on and still had a nice game. I didn't watch his defense but at this point I consider him a wing defender now and maybe he is even a good one. He also cooked Culver once which probably ain't bad because I do think Culver is an NBA defender.

Leonard Miller playing as more of a forward instead of a center just looks like a better player. He actually looks good when it's a high energy defense because he can play with lots of energy. The last couple games he has gotten lots of defections and steals. He had a fantastic defensive possession where he got into he right spot walled up and then blocked the guy too.

I really don't want to bag on Jesse Edwards because I don't hate him but right now he just isn't a guy I can get excited about. It's possible he develops but he just doesn't seem to be all that good at a few things and I'm not going to freak out too much about it but 0 rebounds in this game? Well he wasn't exactly a good rebounder in college so it's not a big surprise.

Jay Huff looks like a an interesting player but my goodness he looked freaking annoying looking like he was bitching the entire game.

Culver..idk he did actually finish with a fill up the box score line but it's hard to believe he was a lottery pick at one point.

Overall another game of the Wolves playing their butts off and played defense. I like that they weren't just mailing in this last game they were still playing their legit guys. So many times the scrubbs end up playing a lot of this last game that doesn't matter. Both teams seemed to be playing to win. I feel a little bad for the guys that don't get to play but my guess is most of them will be in Iowa and will get some good run down there. Maybe oke of them will get a exhibit 10 deal and get a few thousand buck before being waived and then signed in Iowa. Wieskamp had a nice game.

I will also add that Channing Frye was pretty hilarious on the broadcast in this game.
