Also why does Ant never do pre game intros. Randle didn’t either tonight

He was good. I like Grady better, but when he leaves for greener pastures Horton would be a fine replacement.

While it's a bummer you missed Wemby, congrats on a attending a very enjoyable offensive performance. Ball movement was terrific!

Randle played great. Rudy was in his bad, Ant a super quiet great game. Nobody played bad. Really like where this team is at so many ways to be good right now. Also credit to the spurs they made some tough shots

Abe's Late Night "Let's Appreciate a Winning Streak" DVR Review:

- The Wolves went 10+ years without a 5-game winning streak. So, I appreciate whenever they happen.

- I chronicled the Wolves lack of passing often this season... as have others. The team was struggling to get to 22 assists for a spell. Things have changed. The Wolves had 22 in the 1st half tonight! 38 overall. The team has at least 25 assists in 8 straight games. The game looks different. It feels different. It's more fun. That's why passing in basketball remains the coolest thing in any sport. I will fight to the death over this take.

- It starts early. I thought the team's passing early vs. Miami was huge. And we saw it again tonight.

- Randle is on a continuous triple double watch right now.

- Conley is shooting pretty well. And, he even took it to the hole TWICE. WHOA!

- Assists are up... and TOs are down. Amazing how that happens, huh?

- The Wolves feel firmly in control of these games (even Miami in a way). They're playing very well offensively. I think the defense has been spotty at best. I thought Reid has had some very rough stretches. But they might just be pulling a Milton Berle... and they've been without their best defender.

- All that goodwill... but... they remain behind GSW who is now playing very well. It makes those three losses to BAD Golden State teams that much more frustrating.

He's good, but better on radio. TV announcers understand they don't have to talk so much, unlike radio guys. Also, while I enjoy all the deep stats he throws out on his X account, it gets a little annoying during the games. If Grady leaves, Horton will be fine...but he will need to dial it back a little.

On the other hand, the Wolves' offense was flawless...141 points! As others have noted, the ball movement was the best we have seen all season. Ju has completely turned around his game from occasional ball stopper to guy who wants to give teammates open looks...the timing on his passes is extraordinary. Rudy will always be Rudy on offense, but there's no question his screening unlocks Mike and Ant. And while some aren't happy with Naz and Donte moving back to the bench, it was nice to see them 2nd and 3rd in scoring behind Ant...helps the narrative that "starting doesn't matter". Some of us were also concerned that the absence of Rudy and Ju was what unlocked Jaden, but he looked the same tonight...good to see.

But our defense though...
