Remember how fast Memphis had to bench him against Kat in that playoff series.

either we get another talented but flabby and sick team in the Warriors or we get diet Denver in the Rockets.
I was strongly wanting the Rockets to win this series, but I'm almost at a point where I don't care. Wolves have major strengths they can exploit off either team.
Naz would absolutely want the Warriors.

I really want the Warriors due to the home court advantage, and I view the Rockets as a bit of a wild card. Either way we should be a very confident team going into the next round.

Kris Dunn is such an interesting case. I think his value to the Clippers is that he can start games as their main on ball defender and can be aggressive and absorb fouls so that their main guys don't have to get their hands too dirty. It's a role we've seen in the past but it's usually a defensive Center. Think Nazr Mohammed, who started at Center for a Spurs title run and played only 23 MPG. Or Kendrick Perkins when Boston won the title with KG.
Given the prominence of lead guard/wing scorers these days, I can appreciate the strategy of the "defensive specialist token starter" role shifting to a guard or wing like Kris Dunn. Dillon Brooks is getting close to that type of role, as he sat a good portion of a critical game last night and is only averaging 28 MPG.
As for Buddy Hield, he's just a mess right now. But I wouldn't be surprised if he suddenly found his shot against us, ugh!

I think at this point, I'm more concerned about beating Houston. I think their athletic, energetic defense looks pretty brutal to play against, they've got depth, and they can play small or big now that Steven Adams has turned back the clock.
The Warriors look somewhat fragile. Their ceiling is really high with Curry and Jimmy, but it feels like over a 7-game series, their age and lack of depth would hurt them, especially coming off this tough, physical series. That might be recency bias since they've lost the last couple of games, but I'd bet on Houston winning tonight. I hope I'm wrong though. In addition to those other factors, I think we match up well against Golden State overall.
Whichever way it goes, I think we need to get ready for a really physical series. Golden State has Jimmy and Draymond, and Houston has Thompson, Brooks, Eason, and Steven Adams (who looks awesome right now). Also, we either get Draymond or Brooks, so get ready for some s*^t talk and dirty plays.

Yeah as it's been said both teams are pretty good defensively and it's been reported that Reeves wasn't fully healthy at some point in the series. I also heard that Redick and another member of his coaching staff wasn't at 100% after they collided at the Lakers practice facility. The foul was called on McDaniels.
Anyway I'm not scared of either of these teams but I definitely think they are gonna be a tougher match up than the Wolves. GS seems vulnerable because their age and I not sure about their depth. Rockets have talent and maybe more depth but also some level of lack of experience. The Wolves need some of their other bench guys to come to the party and make shots or they could be in trouble.

Yeah, I don't have much preference. The two West teams that "talked up" their championship aspirations after the trade deadline were the Lakers and Warriors. The Lakers are stunned they were bounced in the first round. I am sure the Warriors will be stunned as well if they lose tonight. I would take a fair amount of glee in that scenario!
But if the Warriors win, that puts in line two more "pelts" for ANT's trophy wall -- Steph and Jimmy. That would be sweet as well (assuming a Wolves win)!
Home court advantage would be nice with the Warriors, but either way, the Wolves having all this rest and their opponent having to dive right into the next round is a notable advantage, one the Wolves were on the other side of last year against the Mavs.
