I think I would do the Naz DD and Mike instead of Rob. Sounds like Ja is not really highly sought out and I think they would likely take that. Lineup of Ja Ant Jaden Randle and Rudy. Think it's worth the gamble as the team as constructed isn't going to win it all.

TC will figure out a way to get involved to acquire another 2nd round pick for helping restack the deck chairs on the Memphis Titanic.

Seeing a fake trade on Bleacher Report

Wolves send:
— Naz Reid
— Donte DiVincenzo
— Rob Dillingham
— 2029 second round pick

Grizzlies send:
— Ja Morant

If Connelly was convinced that Morant had his head on straight, I could support this. But I think the overwhelming weight of evidence is that Morant does not have the quality character that Connelly prizes.

I really don't see the value in this.
First I think DD and Mike are two high level glue guys on the team, trading them for a player of questionable character and play level

That would be a worthwhile sacrifice if the player clearly upgraded the roster. That is simply not the case with Ja anymore. We are multiple years away from him being that kind of player and right now he looks further from that than he has at any point in his career. Further, even at his best it's hard to understand how we would fit with roster as is. Randle, Ant and Jaden have given us a lot of signal that they can carry a top 5 offense. There just isn't enough ball to go around for Ja to do what he does best, said another way, he not the kinda point guard this team if they were to switch things up.

I think we all need to show a little more patience with a group that has certainly earned it. They're 7-4 and Ant has only been fully healthy for 5 games. It hasn't been the ideal start to the season given how bad the losses have been but a lot of things have developed that beget an extremely optimistic outlook, not the least of which is that Ant has looked like a legit MVP in the games he's played.
