I actually think a majority of Americans are pro-ICE. But they are not happy with what is happening in Minneapolis. Maybe the Feds should turn the other way, but I don't think that is very helpful for the country. The number one problem, IMO, is the state's leadership WANTING to create confrontation. Refusing to allow Minneapolis police to offer any assistance is pure insanity. I see plenty of blame to go around on both sides, but Walz and Frey are fueling the fire as much as anyone.

I realize not everyone sees it the way I do. But the people unwilling to acknowledge that there is another point of view, well...

Majority in all the latest polls I’ve seen are that ICE is overstepping and dissaprove of them. But think whatever you want I guess.

Overstepping, yes. Disapprove of the overstepping, yes. But the current mission of ICE, removing illegal immigrants who have committed crimes, is one that is generally supported.

Every president deports millions of illegal immigrants. Yes many agree violent criminal immigrants should be deported, this is not the way to do that. If this is the way to do it in Florida and Texas do it there, but his is not he way to do it here. Both Democrats and Republicans are both using gas here, and not being responsible.

Agreed! Both sides are digging in and saying "my way or the highway". It takes two sides to cooperate. I wish they would cooperate.

Yeah, ICE is not operating under legal parameters. That’s why it’s not political. They are behaving illegally and need to be removed and abolished. No one is saying criminals need to be ignored. But people are not illegal. Immigrants here without proper channels is a misdemeanor. If that is their only “crime” then use the BCA to methodically track them at worst. But many people being detained have active process to gain citizenship legally. This is not the time for politics and that’s the big thing here. This Absolutly isn’t political. Democrats won’t save us either. This is a fascist take over and mass resistance is needed. The man who died today is a hero and one segment of our society is demonizing his behavior instead of recognizing the need to join in the fight. They will come for you eventually.

....and this is where I take issue with some of the anti-ICE voices, with emphais on some. You are basically encouraging and cheering on resistance in the form of confrontation. You and others with the same view on this use language that could compel someone to use confrontational tactics to disrupt or hinder ICE operations. That's different than joining in peaceful protests or other forms of passive resistance and advocacy. And then when such confrontation is met by an anxious or trigger-happy ICE agent that leads to tragedy, you can scream from whatever safe space you're in, "See! See! They're fascists! I told you so!".

Who is our board administrator? I thought this was about BB. A simple warning to BL should suffice, and then a ban if necessary. I don't see why Cool should be the one leaving.
