Randle was great in the first two rounds last year. Not so much this year. Denver is the kind of team he should flourish against -- no rim protection. He needs to have a great game. Bones will likely see a lot of minutes - he needs to hit a boat load of 3-pointers. And we need others to join the party -- Jaden, NAZ, and whoever else Finch decides to throw out there!

I'm not feeling great, but there's a reason you still play the game!
I guess the only consolation is that we are now heavy underdogs and the team can play loose and leave it all out on the floor. Anything can happen in one game, but yeah, this is a tough hill to climb.

I'd guess TSJ already has been told what he needs to do and these comments may be something Finch knows or things will get him going. I remember this off-season a couple podcasts talked about TSJ being a pretty bad defender as a rookie and I hadn't seen it but I definitely put that in my mind. It's not just about staying in front of a guy you have to do a lot of things at this level and that is what Finch was really talking about.

Ayo being out is pretty tough and Anderson is too. That really cuts down on ball handling so Conley is gonna have to play some legit minutes. I'm kinda optimistic too but let's be honest this could get pretty ugly.
Monster, the delivery was very telling...he was pissed talking about TJs defense. There's no question that we're going to need him tonight though with all the injuries. Really a shame we can't be at least close to full strength for this great rivalry.

I think Gordon plays Randle well when he is able to play. The other issue compared to last playoffs is Randle other than last game was not shooting the 3 well. Last year he was balling from 3. That was a big deal. He hasn't been awesome but is still putting up 19 and 8 and his turnovers overall haven't been crazy.

So who the heck is our 5th starter tonight??? I wonder if it will be Clark since we simply cannot afford Jaden getting into early foul trouble and Jaylen can blanket Murray without worrying about foul trouble. We need Jaden's offense more than ever!

Good question, Q. Could be TJ or Hyland too. I wonder if Finchy will go with TJ to see if his stern words had an impact.

Hopefully the Knicks blowout in Atlanta is not an omen for tonight. I full of positive vibes, aren’t I?!?

Makes sense, although I think TJ will be on a short leash...Finchy is not going to tolerate any missed back door cuts.

With how few players they have left I'd think they all have to worry about foul trouble.
