I was thinking this would have been a good chance for Teddy to air it out a little and we saw more short passes. I agree with AP that the coaching was not great, but not that we should have run it more. We need to try and pass down field. I know the line was not giving a lot of time, but we can let Teddy tough it out and hope they give him time to get rid of it.

I didn't see much of this game and that was probably good. Seattle is probably revving up for their run and the Vikkngs were playing without some really talented defensive players as it has already been mentioned. I still believe in Teddy as the QB going forward but he isn't getting it done enough thisbyear even if he is in a tough spot. He has to do more than he has. It's his 2nd year though I am not getting freaked out.

I'm not as familiar with the typical growth curves of NFL QBs, but I am not impressed with Bridgewater. I hope someone more knowledgeable than me can tell me that he shows all the signs of being a great QB someday, but that it typically takes 4 or 5 years to get there.
One thing I do know is that in today's NFL, you need your QB to be able to take over a game at some point. The idea that you are going to make a long playoff run by riding your RB and defense, while only needing a game manager at QB seems like a bygone strategy. I liken it to a basketball team that thinks they can win by making the low-post game a centerpiece of their offense.....doesn't work like that anymore.

I am sure the Viking were hoping that Teddy would be the man this year and be the focal point of the offense and AP would support him, but it just has not worked out. Viking would love to have Teddy step up and be the face of the franchise, but it didn't happen. I think we have some good reasons to be concerned.

Don't Print That: One Pioneer Press columnist is half a moron if he think Patterson won't be a Viking next year. Not only will he be back, but he will have a more Tavon Austin role of the coaching staff will be the ones who are gone.

I wish I could have seen the game tonight it sounds like Teddy was pretty good. I don't even know how they had a chance to be in that game.

Vikings played with a lot of heart in this one. Good game. Now we need to acquire some lineman to protect Bridgewater.

So if we win the last 3 games do we win the division?

Maybe. GB still has to go to ARZ. If they lose that game, and both teams are 10-5 entering the final game, MIN could end up the 3rd seed.

Anyone else excited for the game against the Giants this weekend? I am also curious to see how the Packers do against the Cardinals. Fun football weekend is upon us.
