I think you're way high, jester. Kang actually only gets around $3 million a year, so I'm guessing Park gets $5-6 million for about 4 years. He's in town now and said yesterday he's fine with DHing, although he would prefer to play in the field. Terry Ryan confirmed that he will be the DH once he adjusts to ML pitching, and Sano will be moving to LF.

Excellent deal 4 mil a year plus a club option for the 5th year I believe at 6.5 mil. Very reasonable contract.

Jester, you're having a bad math week...he's actually getting a little less than $3million a year...but who's counting :) ! That's less than Nishioka got a few years ago, and less than Kang is getting. Very good deal for Terry, but Park should fire his agent.
