So much for Florimon much preferred side I'm sorry guys I just can't stand him. I think even with Danny Santana defensive woes he's twice the player than Florimon is.

Another year same old thing can't get the run in from third with less than two outs.

And the Twins continue to suck with RISP. Awesome. Hard to win games when Dozier and Mauer are hitless in 15 combined ABs.

Yep, it's The Twins Way. Don't worry about getting a hit with a runner at second and nobody out...just get him to third and count on Pedro (Babe) Florimon to bring him in.
My favorite David Ortiz story. In the same situation in his first at bat with Boston, he moved the runner up with a roller to second, and then was surprised when nobody in the dugout wanted to high five him. It was explained to him that his job was to drive in runs, not move runners up.

I meant more that hicks laid off the two curves in the dirt he would've struck out last year on. His plate discipline has improved drastically from last year so far.
Nice to see Kevin get a quality start after having that rough inning.

Corriea's been pretty good today. Not great stuff and his curve is starting to back up on him, but effective nonetheless. Quality start. 6 IP, 3 ERs. He keeps the trend from last year. We're usually in a ball game when he's on the bump.

Back to back walks to start the inning. Mauer on second, Willy on first. Kubel up with no outs. Let's make 'em pay.
