On to the biggest news of the day: AP, AD, P-Train, 28, kiddo-whipper, or whatever name you want to call Adrian Peterson is resigning with the Redskins for 2yr/8M.
I heard he resigned but that's a nice contract. Wolfson has reported there was mutual interest from AP and Washington. The best part of we don't have to hear about people wanting him back. I think he can still play but he isn't the type of guy I want on the roster. Saints got latavius Murray I think that's a nice pickup for them. Good compliment to Kamara. He isn't as good as Ingram but also signed for a decent chunk less also. Murray is a guy that if we don't replace him with a good solid player we may miss him at times.

They got an iffy safety and 2 picks for one of the 5 most productive players in football with 0 cost savings in the deal. Barkley and OBJ were the only two players keeping that team from being an 0-16 joke. They are on a clock with Barkley's rookie deal and they are restarting the rebuild now. That's too late. They had the skill guys and all they had to do was clean up the books and dump Eli and it was turned around. Too late now. They'll let Eli get them a top 5 pick next year and get a QB and it'll be too late.

I am not going to defend all the moves the Giants have done, but they didn't get screwed on this one.
Last year OBJ had a bounce back year. He is not even a top 10 WR anymore.
24th in targets
27th in catches
21st in yards
38th in yards per catch
27th in TDs

Those numbers are in 12 games with one of the worst QB's in football. Do you know that OBJ threw the longest air yardage TD for the Giants last year? His QB was so bad he could throw it farther. And he's only 26.

The drama queen has only played 50% of his games in the last 2 years. I doubt there was much interest in him due to what he would do in a locker room.
I still don't get why the Giants got fleeced. They got more than Steelers got for AB and more than we got for Randy Moss.

Raiders trading Mack considered "Best of the Year".
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/raiders-received-best-transaction-award-at-analytics-conference-for-trading-khalil-mack-to-bears/
I wonder how we will look back on OBJ trade. I think trading Mack could work out for Raiders. I don't see them getting Brown without trading Mack and now they have picks develop the team. I don't see the Giants doing anything like the Raiders and likely they will blow those picks since they have been horrible at drafting players over the last few years.
