The scariest thing about Ball is the free throw shooting.
45% as a rookie. 41% this season.
Your PG must be able to hit free throws...

The biggest thing with Pop is that his teams make the extra pass every....single....time. It's like drilled into them from the get go in his program. I think he still believes the best shot is an open one, regardless if it's a 2 or 3, so he won't have guys forcing up 3s with a guy in their grill if an extra pass will yield an open 2 point shot.
But does anyone here thing Bryn Forbes, Derrick White, or Davis Bertans would have amounted to anything if drafted/signed by the Wolves? They'd either be in the G-League, riding the end of the bench, or out of the NBA. Yet they are major pieces in Pop's rotation.
Yet San Antonio has shot 2nd least wide open shots in league. They are 3rd in open shots tough.
SAS took only19 three pointers last night. That's not enough attempts!!!!!!!!
Oh... they hit 16 of them?
Cool.

I saw a tweet and I think it said they hit their first 10...well White and Bertans hit their first combined 10 3's because that's the guys that took them.

They actually hit their first 13 I believe. It was ridiculous. Keep in mind OKC is the best defensive team in the NBA and 6th in Opponent 3pt%. Also, Aldridge caught fire with his mid-range turnaround.

How Griffin has reinvented his game is remarkable. It's largley going unnoticed because it's in Detroit The roster he is playing with is terrible. Unfortunately for him it doesn't appear there is a path to winning there with that roster.

Watching this Cavs Lakers game...it's like watching some sort of summer workout of random guys some you almost forgot we're still in the league.
Anyway nice win by the Cavs to help out the Wolves. Alec Burks finished with 17points and 13 rebounds.

Dennis Smith Jr on the trade block. Sounds like Phx and Orlando hottest teams for him.

Those teams have need of a PG. I was high on his upside in that draft but I haven't seen him enough to get much of a read on him. Certainly shooting better this year. It doesn't seem like he would be a good fit with Booker but the Magic need a guy that can just go out and ball. I wonder what kind of asking price the Mavs are asking.
