I noticed that too. I didn't even remember Witzman being released.
I am a big supporter of Hill. I think his best role though would be a backup and be very good at that.

Bears just signed some other guy to a deal on their oline. It might not be a great group but idk.

John Matsko seems to be an OL guru. He would be a guy to watch. I don't see him leaving Panthers unless they suck, but we should watch him.

Should Vikings go after Green Bay's OL coach? They always seem to be pretty good.
Also, Elfein just doesn't look the part this year. He seems to get beat a lot.

Tough to expect him to be awesome coming off 2 surgeries and couldn't work to get better physically. I think the hope is he gets a lot better next season but kinda tough for him this year. Maybe it clicks at some point.

I agree with that, but was hoping he would get better as the year progressed. It seems he is declining or maybe it is how they use him.

This line isn't great and they are better when Morgan is available. He is gonna help everyone when he is healthy.

Agreed - I was hoping we would draft a TE, G, or LB early. Hopefully we address those this year. I don't think Barr will be back unless it is on a team friendly deal. It would have been nice to have someone to groom this year. (Depth guys are good fill-ins, but don't see a starter in the group)

I don't think this team utilizes the TE position we'll enough to dedicate a high pick to it. All hands on deck need to go to the O-line. We have offensive weapons, but not enough time to use them. LB would also be a spot I look at early. We've seen what impact guys like Smith and Vander Esch have had on their teams. I think Kendricks has been pretty bad this year and should probably move to the outside so someone more consistent and with more range can handle the middle of the field.

Does anyone think we can trade Barr for a draft pick this offseason (I feel it's an optimistic idea but...there may be a chance...) or do we just have to hope for the compensatory pick down the road when he signs for a decent chunk of money?
As far as drafting a LB I'm all for it although i do still have some belief in Eric Wilson as a guy that could be worthwhile...more than just a solid depth guy a legit solid starter.
Meanwhile...how much does it take to sign Anthony Harris to be the starting safety?
Oh back on topic I think the waybto fix this line is keep drafting and adding young players. I don't think FA is much of an option except maybe adding cheap guys in hopes you find the next Berger type.
