I think if Pau goes to the Bulls it does 2 things,
1) removes the Bulls from the K-love trade sweepstakes (at least one that we would want) and
2) I think it signals to Cleveland that they are not the shoe-in they think for the Finals with just having Lebron and need to make a move other than just signing Ray Allen & Mike Miller
Hopefully reason #2 is what finally makes the Cavs relent and include Wiggins in a trade for Love

That is very good point, and something that I never considered. You get the gold star for the day! :)

If Pau goes to Chicago, it removes one more competitor for Love's services which is not good in my opinion. The Cavs may be satisfied to be patient for a season before making any big moves. LeBron has already lowered expectations to hedge for a development strategy vs. a win now strategy. We'll see...

If the Bulls sign him to a $10m a year deal I doubt they'll try to get Love too.
Adrian Wojnarowski ?@WojYahooNBA 7m
Pau Gasol move to Bulls matter of sign-and-trade that could get him $10M per year, or straight signing for $6.5M range, sources tell Yahoo.

Trevor Ariza to Houston for 4/$32M with a front-loaded contract
What a shitty consolation prize

Marvin Williams to the Hornets 2/$14M

And it's fully guaranteed. The Jordan Hill deal still takes the cake.

@MikeCairns5: Cavs working three team deal w/ Warriors/TWolves. Warriors get multiple 1st rnd picks. Wolves get Klay and Tristan Thompson. Love to Cavs" I can't decide if I approve. The lesser Thompson doesn't do much for me.
