Re: WOJ Live: Free Agency Show
Pau would make us a pretty good team on paper. It would give us one of the best front courts in the game. With the league going smaller having two bigs that do so much at a high level will make it tough on other teams to match up. I wouldn't go over two years for him, but I would pay a large sum of money over those two years for him. Would be a terrific fit for us.

Before you know it, we'll be begging Mickael Gelabale to come here for $10M per year!
I'm surprised we didn't make an offer the Afflalo. He defends and hits threes. He got a 2-year $25 million deal with only around $2.5 million guaranteed next season. I love that deal because it allows the team to dump him next season to free up money for next summer when there will be a huge crop if really good free agents.
Given that we have $20 million to spend just to get to the minimum, we can certainly make a very sweet offer to Pau Gasol. He'd be a nice addition in a 2-year deal.
I still like Cole Aldrich on a longer-term but lower annual deal. Sign him and Crawford.
Thoughts?

Sign Pau for 2 years and see if Crawford will take a one year deal and call it an offseason.

I like it! Along with Dunn, that would be a nice summer for our new front office.

Hopefully we are seeing the market stabalizing for bench players...

He is a guy i like a little but I don't know if I would commit to him for 4 years. If he turns out to be a solid player it's a good deal having him locked up.

Re: WOJ Live: Free Agency Show
I would think we will get one or two of these bigs: Gasol, Aldrich, Bass, Reed, Humphries, Zeller, Haslem, Kuzminskas, Robinson
And we should get at least one shooter. This is pretty much what is left: JR Smith, Crawford, Seth Curry, Deron Williams, Mario Chalmers, Tyler Johnson, Brandon Rush, Foye, Gerald Green, Dorell Wright, Marcus Thornton, Aaron Brooks, Alan Anderson, Hinrich, Jason Terry, Budinger. Both Crabbe and Harkless are restricted options who Portland likely matches. Waiters is also Restricted.
With the Cole signing averaging 7.3 Mill, I think we have roughly 20 Mil to spend (63.6 to 11 roster guys and KMart per Hoops Hype, plus 7.3 (estimate) for Cole and 3.1 for Dunn's spot.)
How should we use the 20 Million? I'd only spend big money (12 Mill plus) on Pau or Smith on a 2 year deal or Crawford on a 1 year deal. Assuming we can't get those guys. I'm looking to sign two more guys on short term deals so that we could cut them to free up money to pay Wiggins and Zach. Who would be the best fits?

Re: WOJ Live: Free Agency Show
I know it wouldn't look sexy but if we don't get Gasol I could be happy with a FA haul of Aldich, Acy and Crawford (or another ball handling shooter).

Looks like we are holding out for Pau.

Calvin Booth checked in on Ennis before he went w/ Mem., & #Twolves checked in again on Lance Thomas. But holding pattern until Pau decides.
