Could be sent to a third team (Philly) plus an asset (Bennett or a 1st rounder) for a starting PF (Young).

I'm not buying it, especially when earlier Krawczynski said Martin's name hadn't even come up in talks yet. Plus JJ being an expiring. That still leaves a bunch of SFs.

Keep in mind that they haven't signed Wiggins yet. This could be happening to create the needed cap filler to do this thing without signing Wiggins.

As Detective Mills once said, "Let's finish it."

McDermott, Gibson, Butler and a 1st rounder OR Wiggins, Bennett and two 1st rounders. I realize there's a potential superstar prospect involved, but Flip could get his cake and eat it too. Stay competitive while getting a pretty decent prospect.

On the other hand, I don't think Chicago's going to offer that plus Flip seems like a homerun hitter. Likely go with Wiggins package.

Between LaVine, Wiggins, and Bennett at least one of those has to hit, right?

I'm not gonna lie, I'm probably higher on McDermott than I am Wiggins right now due to his high IQ and crisp offensive game, BUT I do realize the two-way upside with Wiggins. Both would be great fits next to Rubio, but I am starting to re-think a Chicago offer...

That's pretty damn funny. They don't have anybody a little less conspicuous they can send into the arena to get Taylor?
