Maybe I'm just old, but I remember when there was no media availability, and reporters just showed up digging for info. I suppose that is asking too much. What is the risk, being froze out by Thibs so the puppies dont' get those mind boggling quotes like "DO YOUR JOB!"

This sport looks more and more like professional wrestling to me. The refs already officiate with bias towards the stars.

Thats why one of the reasons why kat is taking more heat right.

Apparently, during the scrimmage, Kat challenged butler but passed off whenever butler was on him. Wiggs was apparently lighting it up that game and challenged butler on the court (not directly, but by playing well) rather than verbally, hence the hand dap. Just a guess, but the main issue seems butler and kat. But, i think this grief against kat and wiggs isnt as important for butler; its all about the money.

I think Butler's issue with Wiggins is his effort based on his talent level. When Wiggins plays hard like it sounds like he did in practice there won't be an issue with Jimmy. I think Jimmy's issue with KAT is his attitude and hearing KAT passed out of every time Jimmy guarded him is a signal of the problem especially if KAT challenged people to stop him and shy'd away when challenged. That's a fakeness that Jimmy brought up in the interview that everyone in the league can tell when it's out there. And they both get paid more than him which is the real kicker that escalates these problems. Those both seem to be very fixable issues which is why he mentioned things could be fixed, but he knows they aren't gonna make those changes which is why he said things likely won't get fixed. Why would they change? They just got max deals and in Towns case he was handed the keys to the franchise. The organization enabled those behaviors by handing them everything on a sliver platter and it just takes more maturity than they have right now to fix them unfortunately. If they don't fix either problem we're back to square one anyway.

Agreed.

Remember last year, on MANY occasions, when Kat would only get like 8 shots in a game? Everyone blamed Thibs and his strategy. Well, maybe KAT just didn't want the looks? Could you imagine the reaction you would get from other "superstars" if their coach shut them out of the offense like this? In today's world, you would instantly hear a lot of grumbling from those players. What did we ever hear from KAT? Birds chirping? While I hate the way this whole situation is going down, I firmly agree with jimmy that neither Wig or KAT are the competitors you need to win important games in the NBA. That needs to change.

Shouldn't KAT be expected to have some immaturity issues? Jimmy's immaturity should have the real scrutiny here. He's the vet, who is a petulant child. Jimmy has no reason to have any issue with anyone based on maturity after coming out with his reason for this tirade. The guy is a baby and needs a spanking and a timeout.

Love AJ Monsour's tweet today:

All of you taking Jimmy's side of this are acting as if he's being a prima donna fro the betterment of society...the dude's not Robin Hood, quit acting like he's got anybody's best interest in mind other than his own.

Spot fucking on.

A mildly interesting comment from Marks here on a possible pick from Miami.

The 2021 unprotected first that Miami owes to Philly is a hindrance. If you are trading a 2019 first it has to be either unprotected or with protection with no rollover (ex: what Toronto sent SAS). After that, only 2023, 24 and 25 are available.

If that's the best we can get for Jimmy, it would seem his value has already dropped. Doubt it's going to get any better moving forward.
