The wife and I went to see Yesterday, yesterday. If you haven't seen the previews it's about a person who is the only one on earth who remembers The Beatles and gets famous off their songs. It was a really entertaining movie with an excellent soundtrack! Highly recommended!
Saw Toy Story 4, kinda rolled my eyes when I heard they were making another one, I mean what could they do more with the story? Well, unlike this organization, they delivered

Yeah I've heard good reviews about that one. MIB was fun and entertaining. Honestly I kinda want to watch it again so maybe it was really good. :)

Movie thread! Good idea to take our minds off DLO. I liked Green Book but didn't think it was Oscar worthy.

Most, if not all, of us have seen Disney's original Lion King. Remember that gut wrenching feeling you felt when you watched young Simba come across his [dead] father Mufasa in the valley after the stampeding wildebeest? "Dad? Dad, come on. We gotta go home. HELP! HEEELP!"
That was yours truly when I saw Shams Charania tweet that Golden State and Brooklyn we're nearing agreement in a sign-and-trade for D'Angelo Russell. "HELP!" Ugh, Minnesota can never have nice things -- even when it's meant to be.
I believe wholeheartedly that Rosas had Russell in his pocket, that the meeting went as planned, that Towns legitimately thought his buddy was coming to play with him, that Russell had Minnesota at the top of his list. And then Golden State swooped in out of no where and presented him the opportunity to be featured this year for a franchise that is at their all-time high in terms of relevancy. That's a hard offer to pass up, and Russell certainly didn't. I'd expect the Warriors to look to trade him next summer for role players that they can slide in around Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green moving forward.

This post...at first I thought this was gonna be a review of the new Lion King movie. What a let down.
Cam I do think the interested from Russell was genuine. How far down the road Rosas was in terms of making the deals to make it happen? We may never know. Like you said it's possible a few months from now Russell is available again.

Uhhh... let's wait a minute.
The Golden State Warriors will acquire D'Angelo Russell in a sign-and-trade with the Brooklyn Nets, but he may not be a long-term part of their franchise.
"D'Angelo Russell does not fit there whatsoever," said Marc Stein of the New York Times on the Dan Patrick Show. "They just did not want to see Kevin Durant walk out the door with no compensation. ... They will trade him. It's just a matter of when."
Russell will receive a four-year, $117 million contract from the Warriors.
The Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers also expressed interest in Russell.
This weird story might not be over with just yet. Rosas still has a shot.

If that day comes then be prepared to pay a much higher price than what "supposed deal rosas has lined up already" rosas best shot in getting dlo is over. He will need to pay a much hefty price to get him.

Once again think it's under 5% but Russell has 6 days to back out. Russell has to want to go there. Russell still has all the control.
Once again nothing is official till Saturday

Time to move on from Russell. The Suns didn't even want him. They preferred Ricky. I can't blame them.
