That is crazy money for Kalil. Anyone looking for an agent should reach out to the guy representing him.

Fusco got released by the Falcons. He was released with injury designation so probably isn't quite recovered from his broken ankle last season. They had other options after signing a couple guys I'm FAR and drafting Lindstom. Now both of their starting guards from last season are FAs.

Just saw that. I wonder if the Vikings would be interested. I am at the point I feel we need to give the kids a chance.

49ers claimed Willie Beavers off waiver from the Bears. Sorry Bleed it doesn't sound like the Vikings showed any interest. :)

We just don't have the cap space for a legend like Willie Beavers.

True we should have signed him to a lifetime deal when we had the chance. I'm sure with his talent he is gonna be able to play at least as long as Andrew Whitworth.

In all seriousness does anyone know if there is a restriction on the length of a contract in the NFL?

There doesn't seem to be. A long contract would likely benefit the team and agent. Once the contract doesn't carry a cap hit it really is a team option.

Good article on Udoh. These guys that have the profile to be good players, but have not been effective never seem to blossom here. I was not a fan of the pick, but it looks like we had exposure to him so that had to be huge part of selecting him.

1 year 2.5 million with 1 million guaranteed. Seems like a pretty solid deal. I think Remmers is a decent RT. We've witnessed worse.
