My issue with the trade was unless we felt Graterol's value would go down this season then why not hold on to him and try and package him with other prospects for an ACE. I think Maeda will be a solid starter in regular season, but not a guy you want starting in the postseason. I also worry moving from the National league to American league might hurt him. I really wish he was a lefty too.

Oh no!! Sources: Prospect's health holds up 3-team trade involving Mookie Betts

The Twins shouldn't give up anything more here. Brusdar Graterol was the #1 prospect in their farm system.

If the Twins were going to utilize him as a reliever...his value wasn't going to go up. I think the Twins didn't think he was going to hold up as a starter. Wes Johnson talked about his violent delivery at one point this offseason. He has had problems staying healthy and at 21 he hasn't pitched more than 100 innings in a season which is only sorta worrisome because of his age but...

And...then this report comes out with a concern about Graterol's health. My guess is the Twins will throw in some half decent lower level prospect at worst or some cash and this will get resolved.

I don't think anything new came out. I just think the Red Sox changed there mind on him. I would think if anything the Red Sox would try to get out of paying half of David Prices contract.

Not how it works Bleed. In any trade there contegiences for something like this happening. This is why baseball trades usually dont fall thrugh because of medical. It depends how bad Graterol Medicals are. My guess is if there super bad Nick Gordon will be gone. If there kind of concerning then money will be invloved or as monster said low A prospect.

Red Sox's can go eat dick..

https://www.skornorth.com/twins-2/2020/02/report-red-sox-want-twins-to-throw-in-another-top-10-prospect-plus-brusdar-graterol/

Maybe we should ask them what they want for Chris Sale.

They can go eat two dicks. It's not our fault there inexpierence gm didnt google for 3 mins to realize Graterol is a Reliever. Id say you can have Lewis but give us Sale and we get Maeda and you eat 70% of Sale contract. I've never seen a team do this before. There totaly using Brusdar medical records as escape goat because media panned the return they were getting for mookie betts.
