I know about the warning about signing Spurs players but god dammit Jonathan Simmons is doing it again they got him one on one with Curry and he is doing a great job!

The Warriors have made a couple runs but the Spurs keep having the answer. Leonard just tweaked his ankle again hopefully it's not too bad. GS has come out to play in this 2nd half that for sure.

Leonard out for the game after tweaking the ankle again. After that 18-0 run Spurs are holding GS off...so far. Manu is a big part of that.

very cool to see him turn back the clock, Leonard goes out and everything is crashing down on the Spurs with that massive run and Van Gundy questioning who is going to be the playmaker on offense. Manu steps and stops the run with multiple baskets with the crowd in a frenzy bearing down on him

I will miss that eurostepping dude even though I hated him early in his career lol

A couple observations on this Spurs-Warriors game that i don't expect much agreement with:

- I'm not necessarily a fan of the Dubs although I am a fan of both Steph and Durant. But my disdain is so great for Popovich that i find myself very happy with this comeback win. Pop now joins the list of coaches whose team blew a 25 point lead in a playoff game.

- Too bad for my guy Kawhi though. His injury will probably eliminate any chance this series goes beyond 5. I'm predicting he wins the MVP next year.

- Is Doris Burke really the best talent on the planet for doing her job? Of course not. I'm tired of being force fed her on NBA telecasts.

Pop's squad was a play away from winning that game without their best player and playing a 20 year old rookie PG etc and it was against a very talented squad. Come on man. :)

I don't disagree with point 2.

If you dislike Doris you must die every time we are forced to listen to Reggie miller. Maybe it's just me.

All valid points, but they blew a 25 point lead. It was like watching the Wolves.

I'm not a big Miller fan either. I'll never forget the time he ripped into and embarrassed Craig Sager during a televised interview. It was classless.

Why do you hate pop?

I think he's a great coach, perhaps one of the best ever. So it doesn't have anything to do with his ability on the bench. First, it's the way he treats some people. You've all seen his on court interviews - no reason he has to act like that. He never treated Craig Sager with any respect until after he had cancer. Then all of a sudden he was completely different with him. Why couldn't he be the same guy before that? Second, I grew tired of his divisive political comments. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but I don't like the way he used his celebrity status to be divisive, particularly after the presidential election was over. For someone who doesn't react well to criticism, he sure was adept at handing it out. I think he's a bit of a phony and very self serving.
