Nor do we have any margin for error.

Maybe, maybe not. I know he'd take this team to a higher level than Martin + Bud would and his deal would only go one year longer than theirs. Plus it would open a roster spot. Not to mention he's 23-years old, fits exactly what we need at SG and has successful playoff experience. I love me some Lance.

The idea of trading for him is intriguing to say the least. I'd imagine the Wolves would want to dig into his background and stuff before doing something like that. I could see a move like this improving the team enough to possibly entice Love to stay. However if that move was done & Love were to still leave I'm not sure how I would feel about having Pek, Stephenson & Rubio all probably making 12 mill+ unless we were able to acquire a solid PF with upside.

That threesome looks good enough to probably sign Millsap, though. Or throw money at Klay Thompson. Either way, a S/T for Lance makes the team better for the present and future. Don't think it's on Flip's mind, though.

True, especially with a couple expirings coming off the books next summer.

Yahoo Sources: Free agent Trevor Booker, Utah reach agreement on a two-year, nearly $10m deal.

Free agent Jeff Adrien has reached a 1-year deal with Houston, league sources tell Yahoo.

Houston signs Jeff Adrien for the minimum. That's a steal. He's an under the radar player that I was hoping the Wolves would go after.

Doogie reported that the Wolves had interest in Booker. I'm glad we didn't sign him though, not a fan of his game

Kris Humphries has agreed to a three-year, $13M deal with Washington, league source tells Yahoo Sports. Team option on third year.

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
The Wizards and Celtics are working to complete a sign-and-trade for Humphries now.

Would have loved to get him for that while offloading maybe LRMaM or something.

I wouldn't have minded him either but I think Moute is a more valuable player. $4.3M a year is very reasonable for his rebounding and decent offensive abilities but a tad too high for the Wolves IMO. I wonder why teams haven't been going after Ed Davis?

Would have liked Humphries or Adrien. Next, cheap big I'd go for would be Ed Davis. After that, maybe Seraphin or Udoh.
